To whoever may be reading this, Chanel is a Pomeranian mix with a miniature pincher. She is a very sweet dog, however, is very energetic three years ago when we were on vacation, she jumped off the third-story, balcony and severely injured her paw. Unfortunately, at the time I was in college, and unable to afford surgery within the timeframe that was needed, although she is handicapped she still is her loving, energetic self. Unfortunately, she does shed a lot and has anxiety, but she loves being up under you. In addition, she does bark when she hears loud noises such as a knock at the door. If you are looking for a dog who is loving, caring, good with kids, and can keep up although she may be handicapped this is the dog for you. Unfortunately, I am unable to care for her unfortunately, I am unable to care and provide the attention that she needs for her anymore with my busy schedule and new infant .

My Pomeranian is the sweetest in the world! She is calm, affectionate, and loves to cuddle. Honestly, she is everything opposite of what a typical pom acts like. She has one of the best temperament’s that you could ask for from a dog. She has been an angel since puppy to adulthood. Could not have asked for a better dog. She gets along with other dogs as long as the other dogs are not too invasive to her. She is personally more of a people dog. Whenever we take her to dog parks she will greet all the owners first before the dogs. I unfortunately need to re home her due to having 2 babies and increased responsibilities at work. So I am unable to give her the proper full care that she deserves. I am hoping that she goes to a home where she will receive the time, attention, and plenty of love. Because I promise, she will give you the full same love and devotion back.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar. They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. We are accepting applications for poms who will be arriving soon. They are 1 to 7 years old. Pictures and bios of everyone who is still available after we work with approved applicants will be posted. Adoption fees will be 150 to 750 Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a $20.00 donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year. Applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under forms/application. Donation should be made through Paypal at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com. We are only available by phone after you have an approved application. All pets are located in the southeast. Transport is available to the NE for an additional $300.00 transport fee. We do not adopt in MA, RI due to import laws. Residents MUST pick up in CT. All dogs over 8 months will be spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated,microchipped, dewormed and treated for other parasites. I'm a sweet boy that found myself out on my own and when I came to the county shelter no one came to find me. I was sad until Act2Pups pulled me. Here I am enjoying security and learning that I am safe. I get along with my housemates. My foster mom thinks I'm house trained. I enjoy resting in an open crate.
