Story
About Noel Noel is almost an 11 year old Pomeranian D.O.B 10/20/2015, CKC registered, female dog. She was acquired on 12/20/2015 (the Christmas dog) to be a companion dog to her Brother, Wolfie from a prior litter of Pups from the same Mother (Nala) and Father (Quigley). I was able to meet them both when we acquired both Wolfie and Noel. Noel is a very easy going gal. Doesn't get fussy. Does bark at the doorbell when rang. Likely a trait picked up by her brother Wolfie. Likes to eat plain cooked burger or some kind of cooked meat, mostly chicken. Likes a fried egg or scrambled. Does not like dry dog food of any kind. Did show interest in the freeze dried variety. Favorites are the occasional pizza crust and Chuy's tortilla chips. Due to Life changing events, I need to rehome Noel to someone who would like an older companion dog and has availability to spend time with her. I am unable to give her the attention she needs.

Story
Meet Linus! At just 8 pounds, 12-year-old Linus is basically a tiny, fluffy gentleman with the soul of a sweet little grandpa. 🥹 This precious Pomeranian mix was adopted from a shelter four years ago and recently found himself back in rescue through absolutely no fault of his own when his owner had to move into a nursing home. Now Linus is looking for a soft place to land for the rest of his golden years — and it doesn’t take even a moment to realize he deserves nothing less than the very best. Linus does have some typical senior-dog changes, including reduced hearing and some age-related cloudiness in his eyes, but none of that slows down his sweetness one bit. He’s wonderful with other dogs, politely ignores cats, and absolutely adores kids. He’s potty trained on a frequent routine and does great when kept on schedule. Because he’s an older little guy, he can’t hold it for super long stretches anymore, but he’s very good about using potty pads during long work days. Linus’ favorite things include: - Wet food! - Shotgun car rides - Napping in his giant cozy bed - Sitting in your lap - Thinking about sitting in your lap - Returning immediately to your lap Linus is gentle, easygoing, loving, and so incredibly deserving of a calm, cozy home where he’ll be cherished forever. If you’ve ever thought about giving a senior dog a chance, this little guy will show you just how special they are. Linus is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $175.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Gypsy is a 4.5-year-old, 40 lb Pomsky (Pomeranian/Husky mix) who is looking for her emotional support human. She is a nervous girl who needs someone to show her what love truly is. Gypsy is still quite skittish and learning to adjust to the everyday noises and activity of life outside the puppy mill, but each day she grows a little braver. She’s just beginning to discover the comfort of human affection and will need structure, consistency, and kind guidance. Gypsy will need a patient, loving home that’s ready to celebrate her small victories and help her continue building confidence. Because she feels safest when she can follow the lead of another dog, Gypsy will need a confident, well-adjusted canine companion in her forever home to help her continue gaining confidence. She will also require a physically fenced yard to provide a secure environment where she can safely explore and build trust at her own pace. Gypsy is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $275.00. Nick is an 11 year old Pomeranian weighing just 3.5 pounds — and while he may be mainly hairless these days, he makes up for it with a whole lot of personality. This tiny guy is equal parts demanding and incredibly sweet. His favorite place in the world is being held, and if it were up to him, he’d happily spend 24/7 in your arms soaking up attention and love. Nick is great with other dogs and is looking for someone ready to spoil him rotten and embrace his clingy little old man charm.
