Story
Come meet me and hundreds of my adoptable friends at My Furry Valentine at the Sharonville Convention Center (11355 Chester Rd, Sharonville, OH 45246) on Saturday, February 17th from 10am - 5pm and on Sunday, February 18th from 12pm - 5pm! Meet Scout! Scout is a 1 year old, 15 pound Pomsky/Border Collie who loves to be by your side. Scout is an adorable explorer who is experiencing a whole new world! Everything is new to him, and it shows in his eyes as he takes it all in. Scout enjoys going outside in the backyard and for walks. As happy he is outside, he's equally content cuddling up next to you. Scout is a potty training wizard! It only took 2 days for him to let his foster family know that he has to go potty. He is still working hard on crate training, as he will bark when his humans aren't near, but we're confident that with some training he will improve just as quickly as he did with house training. While Scout hasn't been fostered with animals other than his sister Bambi, he happily greets dogs while on walks. Scout's favorite thing to do is be with you. It only takes a few rubs on his head to see how grateful he is for your affection. If you're looking for a sweet, loving pup, Scout might be your match! Scout is currently fostered in Cincinnati, OH. His adoption fee is $400. Scout is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
