Pippin’s story began as an unexpected adventure. He and his brother, Samwise, were found wandering together as strays, two young explorers trying to figure out the world. Thankfully their journey led them to safety, and now Pippin is ready to find the forever home where his real story begins. True to his name, Pippin is full of curiosity, enthusiasm, and just a little bit of joyful mischief. He’s the kind of dog who greets every day like it’s the start of a grand quest. Whether he’s playing with another dog, chasing a toy across the yard, or bouncing around with happy puppy energy, Pippin brings fun and laughter wherever he goes. Pippin is a young dog who is still learning the ropes, but he is eager to please and loves being part of whatever his people are doing. He does great with other dogs and would enjoy a home with a canine friend to play with. He is crate trained and doing well with his basic manners, and with a little patience and guidance he will grow into a wonderful, loyal companion. Like the hobbit he’s named after, Pippin may start off a little silly and adventurous, but he has a big heart and a deep capacity for loyalty. All he needs now is a family willing to take that journey with him. Gypsy is a 4-year-old, 40 lb Pomsky (Pomeranian/Husky mix) who is looking for her emotional support human. She is a nervous girl who needs someone to show her what love truly is. Gypsy is still quite skittish and learning to adjust to the everyday noises and activity of life outside the puppy mill, but each day she grows a little braver. She’s just beginning to discover the comfort of human affection and will need structure, consistency, and kind guidance. Gypsy will need a patient, loving home that’s ready to celebrate her small victories and help her continue building confidence. Because she feels safest when she can follow the lead of another dog, Gypsy will need a confident, well-adjusted canine companion in her forever home to help her continue gaining confidence. She will also require a physically fenced yard to provide a secure environment where she can safely explore and build trust at her own pace. Gypsy is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $275.00. Smokey is a 7 yr old, 6lb Pomeranian who is a retired breeding dog. Surprisingly, Smokey is very interested in human affection and warms up fairly quickly! He sleeps loose in a room, is learning to potty outside and loves other dogs. Smokey will need another small dog friend in the home and a secure fenced yard.

Adonis is a 10 year old Pom who just wants his person! He does have a slight head tilt from what we assume is from a previous head injury but it is unknown. He has a heart murmur that does not affect him at this time, but could need to see a cardiologist if it did start to affect him. He does need a fence to keep him safe. He is crate trained and prefers no other dogs near his kennel as it's his safe space. He would thrive with another calm dog, but no energetic dogs for him!
