Buster may be tiny, but he has enough personality to fill a whole house. Left behind when his owner moved out of state, Buster came to rescue with his mom and two other dogs. Thankfully, that chapter of his life is over, and now he's ready for a family that will never leave him behind. At just 4 months old, this adorable Pomeranian mix is the happiest, spunkiest little guy you'll ever meet. He likes to put on a tough act by barking at strangers, but don't let that fool you. Within seconds he's running over to cover them in kisses and make a new friend. Buster loves to cuddle, sleep with his people, and be wherever the action is. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and is also great with cats, making him an easy fit for almost any home. Everywhere he goes, he brings laughter, affection, and endless tail wags. Good fit: someone looking for a happy, affectionate puppy who loves everyone and wants to be part of the family. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Sammy is a 4-year-old Pomeranian mix sweetheart with the gentlest soul you’ll ever meet. Quiet, kind, and incredibly loving, he’s the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a warm lap to curl up in, a family to watch TV with at the end of the day, and someone to remind him that he’s finally home. This adorable little lowrider gets along beautifully with other dogs and is respectful of cats. He’d be happy with a canine sibling to share adventures with, or he’d be just as content soaking up all the love as your one and only. Sammy is making wonderful progress with his house training and sleeps peacefully through the night in his crate. Every day, he grows more confident and shows just how grateful he is for every bit of kindness he’s given. His short little legs may keep him close to the ground, but his heart is as big as they come. Sammy has so much love left to give—he’s simply waiting for someone willing to take a chance on him. Meet our young silly guy named Cecil! We think Cecil is around 1.5 yrs old and he came to our shelter after he was found roaming in town. No one ever came to claim him, so now Cecil is looking for a new family! It looked like Cecil was partially shaved when he first came in. This makes us think that his fur will continuously grow back, and he will need professional grooming in the future, which is an expense to think about. Cecil is an outgoing and active little guy who absolutely loves playing with toys! He will chase them all around for fun. Cecil is also super food motivated and needs to learn to be less grabby when it comes to taking treats. He is a happy little guy who has a little spice to him. Cecil seems fine with other dogs, but we do think he could get protective around his toys with other dogs. He can go to a home with children 12 years old and older who have experience with dogs. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
