As a rescue, We do not euthanize, but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or we have a committed adopter. Puppies DO get euthanised regularly too. If looking a puppy please allow for age and weight increase if post is slightly older, as we have to manually update. Posting dates are on the listings. MEET MURRY he DD oh friendly and scared of cats. Fully vetted, playful and fun. He was left at a shelter his b people didn’t have time 💔, he is scared of the loud noises and barking of all the dogs. Buster may be tiny, but he has enough personality to fill a whole house. Left behind when his owner moved out of state, Buster came to rescue with his mom and two other dogs. Thankfully, that chapter of his life is over, and now he's ready for a family that will never leave him behind. At just 4 months old, this adorable Pomeranian mix is the happiest, spunkiest little guy you'll ever meet. He likes to put on a tough act by barking at strangers, but don't let that fool you. Within seconds he's running over to cover them in kisses and make a new friend. Buster loves to cuddle, sleep with his people, and be wherever the action is. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and is also great with cats, making him an easy fit for almost any home. Everywhere he goes, he brings laughter, affection, and endless tail wags. Good fit: someone looking for a happy, affectionate puppy who loves everyone and wants to be part of the family. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Purchased from a Connecticut Pet Store on a whim as a “purebred Pomsky” (which, let’s be honest, is basically a fancy label for a designer mixed breed), she ended up in a home that wasn’t quite prepared for the reality of having another dog. Now, through no fault of her own, she’s looking for a fresh start and a family who understands that cute puppies grow into dogs who need time, attention, and training. The good news? This girl has plenty of wonderful qualities to bring to her next adventure! She’s crate trained, friendly with the people she meets, and loves other dogs. She’s lived with older children and has also been around toddlers. What does she need? A family who appreciates her for the fast, funny, energetic little girl she is! Someone who will give her the attention she deserves, help her learn the rules of the house, and finally get her fully housebroken. She’s never really had that foundation, so her new family will need patience, consistency, and a willingness to put in the work. In return, you’ll get a pint-sized personality with plenty of entertainment, canine companionship, and love to give. She didn’t get the thoughtful start every dog deserves, but we’re hoping her next chapter will be the one that sticks. Think you have room in your heart for this little whirlwind? Welcome Loti to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 3-month-old, 5-pound Pomeranian mix puppy. She was found on the streets of San Antonio. She was alone and afraid in the country and a good Samaritan found her. He called CCPAL to come and get her. Marlene rushed to get her. She had a badly injured right eye. We have cleaned her up and she will have the eye removed at her spay surgery soon. She is all smiles and happiness, despite her recent homeless stent. It is amazing that a 5-pound fluff ball could survive any time in the country of Texas. We have fox, coyote, wild hogs; just to name a few predators. She loves to be held and will be an amazing lap dog for someone looking for a sweet companion. She has really soft and fluffy coat. She will need brushed regularly to keep it from matting. She prances and has the adorable curly tail. She is small enough to go with you in a carry bag. She is social and loves everyone. She would be fine with children. Due to her trusting nature and small size, we recommend children being 8 or older. She would be fine in a condo sized yard as well. She is fun and energetic but won’t require much more than some play time in her yard or a nice with with her new family. She is adorable and will be ready for adoption soon. She is getting her vaccinations and the spay and eye removal will be soon. She can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport would be $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.
