Story
Everly Buttercup Kiss seeks audience members to ooo and ahhh over her adorable tricks and cute antics. Estimated to be around 5 years old, this spectacular little black fluff ball appears to be a Pomeranian and German Spitz mix, though with rescue dogs that's simply our best educated guess. She may look like an elegant puff of fur from across the room, but don't let the glamorous coat fool you. Everly is equal parts circus performer, professional smooch distributor, road trip companion, and champion cuddle bug, all bundled into one wonderfully well-rounded little dog. Go watch Everly on YouTube, then come right back to read more. You'll see her happy little tricks, her confident personality, and perhaps most importantly, the enthusiasm she brings to absolutely everything. https://youtu.be/uMovnDhTPCs Everly has the kind of personality that makes living with a dog feel delightfully interactive. Ask for a trick and she's ready to perform. Sit? Easy. Shake? Of course. Spin? Happily. Down? She's got that covered too. She's food motivated, eager to be involved, and clearly enjoys learning just as much as she enjoys earning the treat at the end. Every day comes with its own tiny performance, and she's more than happy to be the star of the show. When she's not showing off her repertoire, she's busy making sure everyone receives an appropriate number of kisses. Everly is wonderfully affectionate without being overwhelming. She genuinely enjoys being close to her people, happily snuggling beside you after an adventure or curling up in bed at night, which is admittedly her preferred sleeping arrangement. She'll tolerate a crate when needed during the day, but if given the choice, she'd much rather consider herself an official member of the cozy-spaces committee. For all her playful personality, Everly is remarkably easy to live with. She's house trained, rides beautifully in the car, walks confidently on leash, and settles into new places with the kind of confidence that makes taking her almost anywhere feel effortless. She especially enjoys riding up front where she can supervise the journey, keep you company between destinations, and deliver her signature smooches every few miles. She also has excellent social skills. Everly enjoys other dogs and is happy sharing her world with them, though she isn't particularly interested in turning every interaction into a play session. She prefers friendly coexistence over constant play, making her an easy addition to homes with other respectful dogs. She hasn't had the opportunity to meet cats yet, but based on the gentle, easygoing nature we've seen from her, we suspect she'd likely approach a feline housemate with the same polite curiosity she shows everyone else, but any introductions should still be thoughtful and gradual. Although she isn't currently living with young children, she's been wonderful around pre-teens, and from everything we've seen, we believe she'd likely make a lovely companion for a family with kind, respectful kids. The only thing Everly isn't especially suited for is apartment living. She can be a vocal little commentator from time to time, and while we happen to think she has plenty of worthwhile opinions, shared walls may not appreciate hearing all of them. Some dogs specialize in one thing. Everly somehow manages to be a little bit of everything. She's clever enough to keep teaching, affectionate enough to keep cuddling, confident enough to tag along almost anywhere, and easy enough to fit beautifully into everyday life. If you've been hoping for a dog with personality, polish, and just the right amount of theatrical flair, Everly is already warming up for her encore. Ready to welcome Everly home? Story
Meet Hazel! Through no fault of her own, this beautiful 6-year-old Pomsky (Pomeranian and Husky) named Hazel is looking for a loving forever home. She weighs 26 pounds, is spayed, housebroken and has a sweet, affectionate personality that quickly wins people over. She gets along well with other dogs, but her compatibility with cats is currently unknown. Hazel loves being around people and thrives on companionship. She has a gentle, friendly nature that makes her a joy to have around. Smart and playful, Hazel enjoys spending time with her family and soaking up affection from the people she trusts. Whether she's relaxing by your side or enjoying a little playtime, Hazel is happiest when she's with her people. Hazel does have some special medical needs due to a history of kidney stones. To help keep her healthy, she requires constant access to fresh water, a specialized veterinarian-recommended diet with specific dietary restrictions, and regular veterinary checkups to monitor her condition and reduce the risk of future kidney stone formation. Despite these health considerations, Hazel is a happy, loving dog who enjoys life and has so much love to give. She is looking for a dedicated owner who can provide the care, attention, and commitment she deserves in return for years of loyal companionship. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate furry friend and are prepared to meet her medical needs, Hazel could be the perfect addition to your family! If  you would like to consider making Hazel a part of your life, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Mention what city and state that you live.  We transport from Nashville, TN where we are based and are able to reach homes and adopters in 12 other northeastern states north of Tennessee.      PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 22, 2026, 4:43 pm

Story
Ekko & Mimi's Story Ekko (black and tan, male, 15 lbs) and Mimi (tan & white, female, 11 lbs) are an adorable bonded pair looking for a home where they can stay together forever! These sweet pups are house trained, crate trained, and have an easygoing, medium energy level that makes them a great fit for many different homes. They absolutely love people and enjoy playing with kids of all ages. Friendly and social, they are not fearful or reactive and have wonderfully happy personalities. Their favorite pastime is romping around the backyard together and playing with their small stuffed toys before settling in for some relaxation time. Ekko and Mimi are easy to walk on leash and could do well in an apartment or home environment as long as they get their daily exercise and playtime. Theyre relatively quiet overall, though they may bark a little when they see activity outside the fence — but once outside, they are calm and content explorers. Like many playful dogs, they do enjoy chasing cats, so a cat-free home would be best for this duo. If youre looking for two loving companions who already adore each other and are ready to bring double the joy into your life, Ekko and Mimi may be the perfect match! Ekko and Mimi are both about 8-10 yrs old. They are currently being fostered in Houston, TX and are available locally or out of state to the Northeast. If adopted out of state, they would come to their new home via professional transport. Email info@joyrides.org to request an application!

Story
Reese has been an integral part of my life for a long time. It’s sad that he has to be rehomed because I will miss him dearly. Reese joined our family about 10 years ago. We got him at Pet Express. He was the cutest little thing. He was so kind, friendly, and curious. He's an awesome companion. He does well with other small to medium dogs and children. He''s super playful, but loves to snuggle up under a blanket and take naps. He's very social but knows how to self occupy by playing with his toys. He is neutered and his shots will be up to date upon adoption. He’s smart and extremely affectionate so be ready for lots of love and empathy from him. There have been times I've cried and he would come over to comfort me. I think he’d be an amazing addition for an older couple or an older individual who is looking for a loyal companion that’s portable and loving.
