Story
Handsome is a 10mo 12.5lb Pom. He’s dog and kid friendly. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule, and crate trained. He’s good in a secure fenced in yard along with going for harness leashed walks. He’s friendly, affectionate, loves pets, attention and to play with any type of ball. He will follow you around the house. He loves to curl up on the couch with his people. He has a thick coat needing to be brushed regularly and groomed often. Handsome's foster requires an active family and/or another playful dog in the home, to get tons of love and attention, be allowed on furniture to cuddle with his people, if a secure fenced in yard it must be minimum of a 4’ privacy fence as he can jump and climb. along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Handsome as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Handsome is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Currently in Freehold, NJ. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org

Story
Isabella is a 6yo 8lb Pom mix. She is dog friendly. She’s house broken when kept on a schedule, pee pad and crate trained. She is very good with people once she confident she is safe. When she feels unsafe, she will bark obsessively to make you aware that she is not comfortable with her surroundings. She requires minimal amount of noise. She does not do well with over three dogs. Confusion and stress make her bark. Isabella’s foster requires a home that understands she is blind so it takes a little time to feel safe. She will sit right by your side and be completely content. She learns her surroundings quickly and maneuvers well as long as you don’t keep moving things around. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Isabella is blind, she was born with a micro eye defect, and has dry eye which requires eye drops two times daily. She also has arthritis in her hips and legs, which makes her walk a little funny but does very well under pain management. She is spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Hatboro, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org

Story
We prefer potential adopters to be within 1 hour drive of Claymont DE 19703. Oso (bear in Spanish), was surrendered because his original family could not provide him what he needed. We got “Oh so” and immediately made a vet appointment, we knew he needed to be neutered and dental surgery if his bloodwork was ok, so he was thoroughly checked and good to go. He is a totally different dog after 24 teeth were removed. I don’t think he notices his testies are gone, he is having so much fun chewing on bones, playing with toys and eating with no pain. He has the energy of a 5 year old dog, so not a typical low key senior dog. I would have named him Tigger bc he bounces so much. He just wants to be with his people. If foster mom is sitting, then Oso finds a spot close by to lay down. He loves to go on walks and car rides. He is crate trained too. He gets along with most of the other dogs, except a high energetic one yr old chi that's in everyone’s face. Oso has a very think coat so he will need to be brushed, and he loves it. His bark doesn’t match his size, you would think he was over 50 pounds if you heard his bark behind a closed door. He is very chatty so we will not home him in an apartment or condo. If you are interested in adopting this young at heart old man, please email us AOLanimalrescue@gmail.com. We do require a vet reference. If you do not have one we are willing to accept a family’s vet reference, with their permission.

Story
Ziggy came into rescue from a hoarding situation. He does okay with other small and medium dogs but prefers to be the center of attention. He would do best in a home where he is the only dog to be treated like the prince he is meant to be. He has been completely vetted and is house/crate trained. He is fostered near Knoxville, TN but transportation is included in the adoption fee. Transportation is provided by Rescue Riders LLC to a location near you. Please email for adoption application.

Story
Meet Miss Panini 🐾 Miss Panini is a 9.5-year-old, well-loved companion who has been with our family since 2017. She loves cuddling, walks, playtime, and companionship, and currently lives well with another dog. She is mostly pad-trained but may have occasional accidents while adjusting to a new home. Miss Panini follows a Science Hill diet for kidney stone management and also enjoys Simply Nourish and Blue Buffalo foods. She is sensitive to loud noises and household items and can be resistant to oral care and grooming. She will need yearly vaccinations updated. Miss Panini would do best in a patient, loving home that can appreciate her sweet nature and provide consistency with her care. If you think she would fit well within your home please send me a message so I can answer any additional questions you may have.
