I adopted Paco in August 2023. He will be 5 this year. He weighs 14.5#. He is affectionate and an excellent companion. He is not destructive and has a low energy level. (Except when he gets the zoomies). He gets along well with my two cats. I need to rehome him because of changes in my work schedule. His main behavioral issues are dog aggression (barking and straining at the leash). However, he is mostly responsive to treats. Although he is house trained, I keep him in reusable/washable doggie belly bands because he sometimes marks in the house. I think he would be best off in a home where someone is around most of the day. He prefers women to men. He would also be fine with cats or a small to medium dog. When he meets dogs fave to face, he usually drops into a play bow right away, so he might appreciate a friend.

Isabella is a 6yo 8lb Pom mix. She is dog friendly. She’s house broken when kept on a schedule, pee pad and crate trained. She is very good with people once she confident she is safe. When she feels unsafe, she will bark obsessively to make you aware that she is not comfortable with her surroundings. She requires minimal amount of noise. She does not do well with over three dogs. Confusion and stress make her bark. Isabella’s foster requires a home that understands she is blind so it takes a little time to feel safe. She will sit right by your side and be completely content. She learns her surroundings quickly and maneuvers well as long as you don’t keep moving things around. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Isabella as all dogs should have 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Isabella is blind, she was born with a micro eye defect, and has dry eye which requires eye drops two times daily. She also has arthritis in her hips and legs, which makes her walk a little funny but does very well under pain management. She is spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Her foster affectionately calls her Georgie, and with the sweetest heart. She’s a total cuddle bug who loves fetch, chew bones, and snuggling up on her favorite human’s lap. Loyal, sweet, and playful — she bonds deeply with her people. She’s doing great with crate training and sleeps through the night.
