Story
Isabella is a 6yo 8lb Pom mix. She is dog friendly. She’s house broken when kept on a schedule, pee pad and crate trained. She is very good with people once she confident she is safe. When she feels unsafe, she will bark obsessively to make you aware that she is not comfortable with her surroundings. She requires minimal amount of noise. She does not do well with over three dogs. Confusion and stress make her bark. Isabella’s foster requires a home that understands she is blind so it takes a little time to feel safe. She will sit right by your side and be completely content. She learns her surroundings quickly and maneuvers well as long as you don’t keep moving things around. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Isabella as all dogs should have 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Isabella is blind, she was born with a micro eye defect, and has dry eye which requires eye drops two times daily. She also has arthritis in her hips and legs, which makes her walk a little funny but does very well under pain management. She is spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Hatboro, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org

Story
PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966Available 5/9/2025 Originated fromMaggie Society DL# 16405Wilson NC 27893 Sweet little Sammy Jean has endeared herself to her Pennsylvania foster family. Shes gentle, loving and a wonderful companion. Sammy Jean is 26lbs and seven years old. In N. Carolina, she lived with an elderly man who became ill and unable to care for her. Sammy Jeans hearts desire is to spend time with her favorite people having her silky coat petted, getting tummy rubs or just relaxing on the couch. Retired adopters, adopters who work from home or are home often would be ideal. Sammy Jean does not display destructive behaviors in her fosters home like chewing shoes. She hasnt has any accidents in the house and walks on the leash without pulling. Sammy Jean lived with a foster family in N. Carolina for a month before the transport to PA. She enjoyed the company of two dogs in the house that were her size. She was not a fan of the two tiny resident dogs. For that reason, it is not suggested she live with smaller dogs. Sammy Jean loves to have her coat brushed and was docile when her nails were trimmed. This little lady will capture your heart. Story
Bree is being fostered in NJ. Her name is Bree but you could also call her Little Miss Perfect! Bree, Bree The cutest dog who cannot see Soft and furry is her coat When on your lap, you will surely dote She dreams of her own forever family For your love and loyalty she does plea Yes, Bree loves poetry! She also loves snuggles, treats, sniffing around the yard, and squeaky toys. Bree was an only dog for most of her life. Then she arrived at our crazy home and had to adjust to sharing everything with the other dogs. She is now a well-mannered, affectionate, friendly little gal. Bree adjusted to her foster home with no problem and immediately found her way around. She makes a cute low grumbling sound when she needs to go outside or wants the water bowl filled up. Just don't bother her when she is eating - she is very serious about meal time! Bree has the playfulness of a puppy - if you bring Bree into your family, have plenty of squeaky toys on hand. She loves to destroy them to get the squeaker out! Bree is also happy to sit on your lap or next to you as you relax. She enjoys "watching" TV and is a big Phillies fan. Her favorite player is Brandon Marsh - Bree likes his long beard. She is also an excellent car rider. Bree knows to "sit" when receiving a treat. And she does expect a treat when she comes back inside from going potty. Bree mostly sleeps in her own dog bed at night, but will sometimes want to sleep in the bed next to someone. As with any blind dog, Bree can be startled by a sudden noise or touch. She would do best with older children (over age 6). She needs to be introduced slowly to other dogs. Bree prefers a private dining experience. Even though Bree is a senior dog, she has plenty of playful years ahead of her and will be a joy to any family who adopts her. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Harvey is a senior gentleman who has had a run of bad luck with his people. Unfortunately, his last two owners became too ill to continue to care for him. He is a 14-year-old Pomeranian with the energy of a much younger dog. He loves to eat, too much actually and will need to be carefully watched with his diet. He needs to slim down to get back to his healthy weight. He does NOT like to be picked up, but other than that, he loves being with his humans and will hold entire conversations with you if you have the time. He gets along well with other dogs, and even has a cat in his current foster home and has no problems with her. He seems to get along well with older children. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and is looking for his final forever home. Despite being bounced around with so many changes, he still has a happy smile on his face. He would be a perfect companion for a senior who likes to take walks, and he would love a fenced in yard to run in. Harvey needs someone around most of the time so we would prefer he live with someone that does not work full-time.If you think you might be Harvey’s new best friend please apply on our website.
