Story
Ollie and Lulu were surrendered to us when their owner no longer had the time to care for them. They both had untreated medical issues and severe dental disease, leaving them extremely uncomfortable and lethargic. After receiving treatment they became almost entirely different dogs. Ollie and Lulu may be seniors but they sure do like to go for walks and run around the yard together. They are a volunteer favourite because of their goofy and sweet dispositions. They are selective with dogs and would only do well in a home with another calm dog that does not intimidate or become rough with them. Ollie does bark at other dogs in passing, while Lulu ignores them. Ollie and Lulu would do well in just about any home. They have been great with respectful children that are experienced with dogs. Lulu can sometimes have grumpy moments when she wants her space to nap. It's important to look for the obvious signs when she needs alone time. Ollie is always happy and ready for a cuddle. This cute duo have great house manners, they frequently go on sleepovers with our dedicated volunteers who report they are always on their best behaviour.

Story
🏠 Currently in a Vancouver foster home Hi, my name is Dabok. I’m a Pomeranian mix boy, and I’m estimated to be about 2 years old. I weigh 6.4kg (14.1 lb), which makes me a small, fluffy bundle of love. With my soft white fur, gentle eyes, and the way I wag my tail as I walk up to you, people often tell me I melt their hearts the moment they see me. That’s my special charm—and I love sharing it. But my life didn’t always look this warm and gentle. I was rescued from a shelter where the risk of euthanasia was extremely high. The environment was harsh, and illness was everywhere. Each day, I waited—without knowing if tomorrow would come. And then, at the very last moment, a miracle happened. I was rescued and given another chance at life. Because of what I’ve been through, I treasure human touch and love more than anything. Even the smallest bit of attention means the world to me, and I open my heart sincerely to those who show me kindness. I’m an active yet incredibly affectionate boy. I get along wonderfully with women, men, and children, and I socialize very well with other dogs without conflict. When you pet me, I naturally lean into you, because connecting with people is something I truly enjoy. People often say I feel like I was born to be someone’s companion dog—and I think they’re right. I’m also great on walks! I don’t pull on the leash and walk calmly by your side. I don’t overreact to strangers or other dogs, so our walks together will be peaceful and relaxing. I do well in the car, I’m crate trained, and I’m already trained for outdoor potty habits. That said, when I move into a brand-new environment, I may have a few potty accidents at first. But I already understand the concept, and with love, patience, and a consistent routine, I’ll quickly adjust again. Your understanding and gentle guidance will give me a sense of safety and help me build deep trust with you. My ideal forever family is someone who can embrace my past, see mistakes as part of growing together, and wants to share everyday joys with a loyal companion. If I meet that family, I promise to give back with unwavering trust, a warm presence always by your side, and endless love. I once stood at the door of euthanasia. Now, I stand here—ready to learn love, and ready to give it back. I’m Dabok, and I’m ready to become someone’s forever family.

Story
Bori is a mature, gentle girl who spent a long time in a shelter before being rescued. She is the kind of dog whose presence is so quiet that you might not even notice she’s there— soft, calm, and unobtrusive. She rarely barks and enjoys simply staying close to her person. From the very first moment you meet her, she’s the kind of dog who makes you think, “I just want to hold her.” Bori’s personality is pure gentleness. She is calm, well-mannered, and never disruptive to the atmosphere of a home. She stays quietly by your side, which somehow makes you care for her even more, with a tender feeling in your heart. One important note: Bori tends to chase cats, so a home without cats would be best for her. In a new environment, she may have a few potty accidents at first due to nervousness. With a little time and patience, she will adjust and gradually settle in. Bori doesn’t ask for much. A quiet space, a patient person, and a family willing to spend calm, unhurried time together is all she needs. She isn’t overly affectionate or demanding, but just having her nearby is comforting in itself. That’s the kind of dog Bori is. She is no longer looking to be alone— she is waiting for a family who will stay quietly by her side, just as she will for them. 🐾🤍

Story
QUICK FACTS  Name: Atong Age: About 6 months old Gender: Female (Spaying Scheduled) Breed: Pomeranian Mix Color: White with Gold Polkadots Weight: 3kg / 6.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I came to the city shelter when I was about two months old and quickly captured a lot of hearts! Unfortunately, I got sick and had to pause my journey to receive treatment. I’ve fully recovered and am now healthy, happy, and ready for my next chapter. I’m a bright little dog who can’t wait to meet a family that sees me for who I am today—and loves me for the future we’ll share together    MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  Hi, I’m Atong, a tiny bundle of love with endless affection and kisses to give! Everything I do is full of charm—I’m sweet, cuddly, and my cuteness knows no limits. I’m a smart little girl, too. I know exactly when to tease the big dogs and, if it looks like I might get scolded, I quickly hide under the sink or the bed and stay there until things calm down. Clever, right? Pretty and smart, I receive nonstop compliments everywhere I go! I’m ready to bring love, laughter, and a whole lot of sweetness into my forever home.    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I am very friendly and outgoing! I love saying hello to strangers and will even show my cute belly! I can be easily pet and be held in your arms! I haven’t met children under the age of 13 yet.   · With Dogs: I love playing with my dog friends! I get along with all dogs, but especially with those that are bigger than me! I am a gentle pup, and I am not the one to start a conflict! Even if another dog provokes me, I simply walk away.  · With Cats: I am familiar with cats! I have been living with cat friends for about 2 months now!    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have moderate energy level – I like to run around and get my exercise outside, and I love to snuggle and cuddle on your lap inside as well! I am young, but I am an experienced walker! I follow my handler very well!     TRAINING & HABITS  I don’t guard my food from people or other dogs, but I may bark when I want your attention!  I am calm when I am placed in the kennel. I am trained to potty both indoors and outdoors!    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever    SPECIAL NOTES  I am a very gentle, small, well-mannered dog and I am full of affection and charm! You’ll be mesmerized when you meet me!     Atong's Youtube Playlist    Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org  For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2657445##
