Story
Ollie and Lulu were surrendered to us when their owner no longer had the time to care for them. They both had untreated medical issues and severe dental disease, leaving them extremely uncomfortable and lethargic. After receiving treatment they became almost entirely different dogs. Ollie and Lulu may be seniors but they sure do like to go for walks and run around the yard together. They are a volunteer favourite because of their goofy and sweet dispositions. They are selective with dogs and would only do well in a home with another calm dog that does not intimidate or become rough with them. Ollie does bark at other dogs in passing, while Lulu ignores them. Ollie and Lulu would do well in just about any home. They have been great with respectful children that are experienced with dogs. Lulu can sometimes have grumpy moments when she wants her space to nap. It's important to look for the obvious signs when she needs alone time. Ollie is always happy and ready for a cuddle. This cute duo have great house manners, they frequently go on sleepovers with our dedicated volunteers who report they are always on their best behaviour.

Story
Snowball is a lovely, 2 year old, six pound spirited little guy who craves affection in the house and is adventurous outdoors. While he might shy or nip at a hand coming at him at first, he has warmed up to the dogs and people in his foster home quite nicely. We have a female lab and a neutered male Pomeranian who he gets on with now without issue.  When he first arrived he was a bit overwhelmed as he had lived a sheltered life with a family that didn't take him out much and who had never had a dog before.  He currently lives with a husband and wife team who had been allowing him to blossom in own time and space and it's working nicely for Snowball. There are no children or cats in the home, nor were there kids or cats in his original home. He doesn’t require a great deal of exercise, his housetrained and fine when left alone.  His current diet is gastro can. He is food motivated. He's been groomed and overall did well, just a few minor objections.  Snow is ready to give and receive affection and attention. He has the same gene as dogs like Chinese Crested,  Pomeranians are highly predisposed to a hereditary hair loss condition known as Alopecia X (often called "Black Skin Disease"). While the exact genetic trigger for Alopecia X is still being researched , it heavily affects breeds with plush undercoats. May 29, 2026, 4:08 pm

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Nayoung Age: 5 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Pomeranian Color: White Weight: 3kg / 6.6 lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I’m not sure how I ended up alone, but I was found wandering the streets by myself. People could tell right away that I had once belonged to a home and family before. Thankfully, kind people noticed me and stepped in to help before anything happened to me. Thanks to them, I was rescued in time and given a second chance at finding the loving forever home I deserve.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m even smaller and cuter in person. Despite my past, I absolutely love being around people and crave human companionship. My friendliness is honestly off the charts—everyone I meet instantly becomes my new best friend. It takes me about 0.1 seconds to roll over and show you my belly because I’m just that loving and affectionate.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I absolutely love people and greet everyone with excitement and happiness. I enjoy receiving affection and pets and am always happy to soak up attention from my humans. I’m also comfortable being picked up, which makes me an easygoing and affectionate companion. · With Dogs: I like to greet new dogs, but I don’t jump into play right away since I’m more of a people-oriented pup. I prefer taking my time, observing first, and getting comfortable at my own pace. That said, I get along well with the dogs at the care facility and interact nicely with them. Because I can get a bit jealous when other dogs are receiving a lot of attention, I would likely thrive best as the only dog in the home where I can fully soak up all the love and affection from my people. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s going for walks or exploring, and once I’ve had my fun, I’m more than happy to come inside and snuggle up for some cozy relaxation time.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk well on leash and generally follow my handler’s lead nicely. I can pull at times, especially when excited, but it’s usually easy to regain my attention and redirect me. I have good manners around food with people, though I can be a bit sensitive when other dogs are nearby during mealtimes. I may bark occasionally when I want attention, but overall I settle down quickly and know how to rest calmly in my kennel. I’m comfortable using both pee pads indoors and going potty outside. I also really love being close to my people and can become quite attached, so I’ll benefit from gentle guidance and patience as I continue learning how to feel comfortable spending time alone for longer periods.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Ideally the only dog as I can get a bit jealous • Ideally a home where I won’t be left alone for long periods of time, such as with someone who works from home, a bigger family, or a household where there is often company around for me to stay connected with my people   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a deeply people-oriented pup who truly thrives on love, companionship, and being close to my humans. Once I bond with you, I’ll happily become your little shadow and stay by your side through everything. Despite my past, I’ve remained incredibly affectionate, trusting, and resilient. Volunteers and staff often comment on how sweet and loving I am, and how quickly I open my heart to people. I may need some reassurance and patience as I continue building confidence and independence, but I respond very well to guidance and structure. I have so much love to give and am looking for a family who will cherish me as much as I will cherish them. With the right home, I know I will blossom into a loyal, devoted companion who will bring endless affection and happiness into your life.   NAYOUNG'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2728823##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Dodo Age: 4 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Pomeranian Jindo mix Color: Brown Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the euthanasia list at a crowded city pound, where my future became uncertain simply because there was no more space left for dogs like me. Through no fault of my own, my time was running out. Thankfully, kind rescuers stepped in just in time and gave me a second chance at life. Now, I’m finally safe and hoping to find a loving forever family where I can truly belong.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I can be shy in the beginning, but I promise I’m worth the wait. Beneath my timid side is a super cute, loving, and gentle boy who just needs a little patience and understanding to fully come out of his shell. I would do best with a family that understands rescue dogs and is willing to let me build trust at my own pace. I rely a lot on my dog friends for emotional support, and having calm, supportive companions around me helps me open up more quickly and feel safe. Even with my shy moments, I’m generally a bright, positive boy who wants to connect and experience the world with confidence and love.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be shy at first, but I’ll gently take treats from your hands and slowly accept soft pets as I get comfortable. I also allow myself to be picked up and handled gently. Even though I may seem timid in the beginning, I’m a very gentle and sweet boy at heart, and with patience and kindness, I truly do warm up. In a home environment where I can feel safe and settled, I’m confident I’ll bond with my new family relatively quickly and show my loving personality more and more each day. · With Dogs: I’m super friendly with my dog friends and love greeting new dogs and playing with them. I tend to get along best with dogs of a similar size, where I feel the most comfortable and confident. I’m also very much a peacekeeper and prefer to avoid conflict, even if another dog is being pushy or rude. Rather than escalating situations, I usually choose to stay calm and move away. I also rely a lot on my dog friends for emotional support, and having calm, friendly companions around me helps me feel more secure and confident. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s going for walks or exploring, but once I’ve had my activity, I’m more than happy to come inside, curl up, and enjoy a cozy nap or snuggle session.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still improving my leash skills and building confidence every day. Overall, I walk well and follow my handler’s lead nicely, especially once I feel comfortable. I do best in quieter areas, as sudden loud noises can still startle me sometimes. With patience and continued positive experiences, I’m continuing to grow more confident. I have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals from people or other dogs. I also know how to rest calmly in my kennel and settle well when it’s time to relax. I’m comfortable using both pee pads indoors and going potty outside, making me adaptable to different routines and environments.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A home with another dog sibling – not an absolute requirement   SPECIAL NOTES Volunteers and staff compliment me every day on how sweet and adorable I am. Even though I may seem shy at first, I actually adjust and adapt quite quickly once I start feeling safe and comfortable. My shyness mostly comes from meeting new people in the beginning, but I’m naturally curious and enjoy slowly approaching to get to know you. I especially love taking treats gently from people’s hands, which helps me build trust and confidence quickly.   DODO'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2736193##
