Story
Hello! I'm Bandit and I'll steal your heart!
It's very likely that I was named Bandit because I will capture your heart with my cuddles, handsome face, soft black and white fur, gentleness, playfulness, and sunny disposition. I'm a shelter volunteer favorite, and any of my volunteer buddies will tell you how special I truly am.
The best part of my day is when a volunteer pal comes up to my kennel to take me out to grab some rays. I am happiest when I'm being loved on and once you start giving me a head massage, I'll lay down for some belly rubs! I love training with treats, especially those jerky ones, and I take them very gently. I enjoy showing off the commands I know and I'm eager to learn more. Ask me to "sit, "come back, "drop, and go "down and I'll steal the spotlight, I pawmise! Even though I'm happy to just hang out and be by your side (I've been known to nab plenty of kisses), I have a playful side and will play fetch, get the zoomies in the yard, and I love a good squeaky toy!
While I'm in the yard, I've also been caught red-pawed running along the fence with many of the other shelter doggos. If you already have a dog, while I think I'd make a Pawsome brother, it's important that we meet so that my staff friends can do a proper introduction to see if we might be compatible together.
Since I'm already vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped I can go home with you today! So, if you're looking for a companion to love you unconditionally, share your walks, cuddle with, and greet you with a warm welcome every time I see you, please come meet me. But don't be surprised if I steal your heart!
Bandit is a male Siberian Husky. He is 6 years old, and currently weighs 52 lbs. He was brought to our shelter on 2/17/24 after being found in San Lorenzo. He hasn't been reclaimed by his previous person, so he's now looking for a new home! He has been vaccinated, neutered, and is already micro-chipped.
