Sitka is a smart, loyal, and loving Husky who will be 10 in July. He adores people and is happiest near his humans—whether exploring outside or relaxing at home. He loves walks, new environments, and secure off‑leash areas where he can roam and meet everyone. At home, he’s calm and enjoys short activity bursts before resting. Sitka is house‑, crate‑, leash‑, and potty‑trained, non‑destructive, and very vocal in a classic Husky way. He loves squeaky toys, treats, squirrels, and sometimes acts like a cat by climbing onto furniture for attention. Sitka is wonderful with children, especially his 2‑year‑old human sister. He does best with larger dogs and isn’t suited for homes with small pets. Sitka loves cold weather, is confident in new places, and thrives on companionship. Sitka still has plenty of personality, love, and adventure to give and deserves a home that will cherish him as deeply as his family has for the past decade.

Story
Miles is about 4 years old. We rescued him from a shelter when he was a puppy. No health issues. He prefers to spend time outdoors versus indoors. Surprisingly, he is not an escape artist. I need to rehome him as my family is going through changes in our living situation that won’t allow us to spend a lot of time with him. He needs to stay active and deserves a lot of quality time.
