Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Hello, My name is Erma, but I go by "E". I currently live with four humans (mom, dad, and two teenage sisters), and three resident dogs who are the same size as me, which makes getting along so much easier, considering we all have very different personalities. I have a very playful personality and I enjoy the company of my fur siblings, but having my human's attention and affection is what makes me happy the most. My fur siblings and I have free roam of the house during the day which is really nice because I love to go from my bed to the couch to the deck for some sunbathing, etc., but spending time outside and rolling around on the grass is my favorite thing to do. At night, my fur siblings and I go into a large playpen where we each have a cozy bed to snuggle in and we rest quietly from 9:30pm-5:30am. I am potty trained of course, but due to my age, sometimes it's hard for me to manage my bladder through the night so my parents put a potty pad in the playpen in case I need to use it at night. My household is extremely chill, and I really enjoy a quiet home. Loud environments can be a bit stressful for a little lady like me. I am hoping that the person who falls in love with me will love to give and receive cuddles and value our time together the way I will. Will that be you? If so, I can't wait to meet you. XOXO, E Adopting a senior dog is like getting a vintage car – it comes with character, a few extra quirks, and might need a bit more maintenance. Expect occasional tune ups at the vet for oil changes (aka meds), and embrace the fact that those 'normal lumps and bumps' are just part of the well-earned charm package! Ruff Start will share all known health information with adopters and rec ommendations to keep your senior dog in top shape. Erma is from a local impound.
