About Me
Hi there… I’m Daffodil — but my foster family calls me Maya. I’m a 44-pound, young, blue-eyed beauty with a soft, fluffy coat and a heart just as gentle as I look. And if you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who also knows how to have a little fun… I might just be your girl.
I’m what they call an “easy dog.” I wake up when you do (no early morning chaos here!), quietly wait in my kennel, and start my day with a potty break and some time outside. I love playing with other dogs — especially a good game of chase — but I also know when it’s time to come inside and relax. Balance is kind of my thing.
Around people? I’m incredibly sweet and calm. I do great with kids, dogs, and even cats. I just enjoy being near my people… sometimes as your shadow, sometimes just hanging nearby soaking up the love. I’m still figuring out the whole “snuggling” thing, but trust me — I want to be close.
I’m already: Leash trained Crate trained (and super quiet all night!) Potty trained
And I’m a pretty respectful house guest too — no chewing, no accidents, just good vibes.

I’m still working on polishing some of my basic commands and learning consistency, and I may need a little guidance around food boundaries with other dogs — but I’m smart and eager to learn.
Before coming into rescue, I didn’t have much of a story — I was found as a stray — but I’m ready to start my next chapter now.
