Story
She was adopted this Spring from a local Rescue however my health has declined since then and am no longer able to walk her 2-3 miles a day and/or bring her almost daily to the very large Off-leash dog park so she can play with other dogs due to the cold weather. I also live in a senior apartment and there is NO enclosed area on the property where she can run and play without a leash, and have lots of other commitments away and she has to spend too much time alone and I feel like she needs a home where her human/s are very active outdoor even in the Winter and that don't have octogenarian health related issues. Sky will be 4 years old in 4 months, she has been a total sweetheart and it's very difficult for me to let her go but it breaks my heart that I cant give her the high energy lifestyle that she deserves and would do much better living in a house with a large enclosed yard to go out to play in as she loves being outside and especially likes to play out in the snow.

Story
Adopted from a local Rescue this Spring (she was being used as a puppy breeding slave) however this rescue is currently up to capacity and cannot take her back. She weighs just under 35#, is totally up to date on all Vaccines including Bordetella,Lyme Lepto, is microchipped and spayed also included is 4 more months of preventatives with her adoption. She is not suited the best to be living in an apartment and my senior complex does not allow dogs to run off leash and has no fenced in dog run or area for her to play in.She loves going for long walks and hikes and being outdoors, would do great with a person/s who works from home or a family that is very active outdoors and has a fenced in yard. She loves people and is fine at dog boarding/day care but has some leash aggression and barks at other dogs however at the off-leash park she loves to run and will gladly play with other dogs!

Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN Vicki is the sweetest pup, we absolutely adore her! She’s affectionate, smart, and energetic. Her blue eyes and expressive ears will melt anyone’s heart. She’s still working some puppy tendencies (e.g., chewing, jumping up) out of her system, but she’s doing well with crate training, walking, and learning tricks. She is also potty trained! For a husky, she’s remarkably quiet: she doesn’t bark, and only whines a little. Vicki is also a classic husky who needs LOTS of exercise (~2 hours per day) and mental stimulation. She does great with long walks (she does get very excited by squirrels and bunnies!) and would eventually be a great bike, run, or ski buddy with more leash training. She would probably love a fenced yard to play fetch and watch the birds, but it’s not absolutely necessary :). If she’s gotten the exercise and mental stimulation she needs, she just wants to flop down next to her people and get lots of belly rubs. She is good with other dogs and is very playful! She would probably do well as a solo dog or with another well-trained dog to show her the ropes and be a play buddy. She does have some separation anxiety and needs further training to be on her best behavior, so she’d do well with a family who is patient and dedicated to building her skills and independence. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sartell, MN Hi! My name is Golden Finch, my foster family calls me Finny. I live with kids, dogs and a cat. I love everyone! I REALLY love my foster brother Cass. He is a husky mix that loves to play. Most days I just follow him or mom around the house. I am shy girl therefore in my forever home it would be best for me to have a confident dog friend to show me the ropes. I have learned so much from the other dogs in the house. Having them around makes new things a little less scary. I have also met Adam the cat. I try to play with him, he typically runs away. My mom says he is just not “dog savy”. I think that means he doesn’t like dogs much. I also LOVE to snuggle. My kids are always “squish kissing”😚 me. I have been working really hard at potty training. I am looking for a patient family willing to continue working with me . It is tough in the winter, I do NOT like the cold weather at all so when my mom tells me I have to go potty outside sometimes I disagree. It is a work in progress. I am sweet as ever, I just need a little time to warm up to new things. That is all about me, Finny. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Farmington, MN Hi there, it’s me, Titan! You stopped on my profile because I’m adorable, right? I mean, how cute is my white nose against my lush black coat? Right? And I have an adorable personality too! My foster mom says you would not believe how perfectly cute I am and so easy to fall in love with! She says I give a little wink sometimes and a cute smile . And for the record, she says I’m a smart boy and have typical puppy energy.
