Story
Moonlight is a 4-year-old, 10-pound Pomeranian. She looks purebred to us, though we aren’t sure. She is as sweet a dog as you could hope for. She loves Foster Dogmom and gets along well with the 7 other dogs in the house, ranging from 4 to 40 pounds. Moonlight is missing one of her back legs. She was rescued from the streets of the Rio Grande valley, so we don’t know how she lost the leg, but it was at least surgically removed. The missing leg does not slow her down in the slightest. Foster Dogmom lives in a 2-story house, and Moonlight follows her up and down the stairs 15 times a day with no assistance. The only thing she can’t do is jump up on the furniture to sit in your lap, but at 10 pounds, she is easily lifted. Moonlight enjoys a good wrassle with the other dogs; her favorite position is on her back so that they come to her. She doesn’t play with toys much, but she loves to chew on Bene Bones. She also loves to go outside, trot around a bit, and then sun herself. Even with the missing back leg, Moonlight is able to do a very energetic Doggy Dance of Joy when Foster Dogmom comes home. She loves to sit on either the floor or your lap and look deeply into your eyes while you scritch her head, scratch her butt and tell her what a pretty girl she is. Moonlight has her manners down. She is housetrained, though you should expect to have to reinforce this in a new home. She’s not barky, unless of course the Amazon delivery driver comes to the house to drop off a package—and who wants a dog that doesn’t protect them from the Amazon delivery driver? During the day she hangs out in a dog bed when she’s not following Foster Dogmom up and down the stairs. At night, she likes to sleep on a cold, hard floor—probably because she’s a big fluffball and fur is hot! Moonlight would do equally well in a house or an apartment, with a senior or single, a couple, or a family. As you may have noticed from the photos, she is, well, kind of fat. She would benefit from a few short walks each day or a trip to the dog park. She is low-maintenance and a very easy dog to love. Moonlight is spayed, has all her shots, and is microchipped. She is heartworm-negative. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that seem to be a good fit for the dog.

Story
Sage is a 3 year old Shepherd/Husky mix and mama to our Summer of Love puppy litter. Sage was a great mom, but but puppies are weaned and ready to be adopted, and so is Sage. Foster mom says that sage is a doll!! She has gorgeous markings, including one blue eye and one gold eye. She is sweet, smart, housetrained, comes when called, will sit for a treat, walks well on leash, and she is good with the resident dog and people she meets. Sage loves to play with the resident dog and stay active, so she would love a new home with another playful dog. or people who will provide her with lots of exercise and playtime. She can also entertain herself with toys or chews. She loves being outside to watch the squirrels in the trees. Sage is not a barker or digger. Foster mom says she can't think of anything negative to say about Sage! Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Niko deserves to be in a home that is going to be able to have more land since we are moving, he loves outdoors more than anything and really only prefers to come inside if it’s too hot or if he wants to take a nap We’ve already crate trained him. He is potty trained so he will go on a pad if need be. And well also wear a diaper. He’s great with cats and also I have four kids, and he’s been amazing with them as well He is a Great Pyrenees mix so he is going to be a pretty big dog In the pictures he’s only 4 months But I’ve never seen him be aggressive towards anyone or any pet if anything he’s going to be a loving teddy bear
