I'm just waiting for someone to recognize my worth and give me a chance to show them how much joy and love I can bring into their lives. Adopt me, and let's make beautiful memories together. I am vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, had flea treatment applied, and sterilized. Story
Lily is a beautiful white Alaskan husky, age four years. She is a rescue who's previous owner abused her, so she is very scared and skittish. She is not aggressive. She may growl but in my care has never bitten or lunged. She will mainly hide and cower. I've had her for a year and wanted to be the one to save her, but fell on hard times. I work 60+ hours a week and can't give her the time and attention she needs. I'm looking for an adopter who can spend extra time and care with her. I love her very much and want a loving home for her.

Story
CHLOE'S DNA test came back 64% Husky, 24% Alaskan Malamute, 5% GSD and 4% Samoyed. She is 45 pounds, and we believe about 4 years old. She has a TYPICAL Husky personality! Except for the occasional "zoomies", she is calm and reserved. She is exceptionally smart, too. Not sure I've heard of many Huskies wanting to play "fetch", but she LOVES LOVES LOVES the ball! SOMEONE MUST LOVE HUSKIES AND THEIR PERSONALITY!! PREVIOUS HUSKY OWNERSHIP REQUIRED. If you've never had a Husky, you might not understand the complete love some of us have for the breed, even with their sometimes challenging traits. Chloe's history is very heartbreaking and worse than most. But like most dogs, her resilience has seen her through. She has finished her heartworm treatment and will be available to adopt in the next month or so. To learn more about Chloe and ask about adopting her, please email can.adoptions@yahoo.com.

Story
Maui is full of love and is eager to have some fun in a foster home while he recovers. Reason for Foster: URI Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks Foster Care Plan: Maui is currently undergoing treatment for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. There is a possibility that he is contagious to other animals, so we strongly recommend keeping him separated in a bedroom or bathroom away from your personal pets until he has fully recovered. He will go home with medication and once his medication is completed he will have a recheck to move forward with the next steps in his care plan. Maui also has a suspected previously fractured pelvis and is awaiting a referral to a specialist once he has recovered from his URI. He will go home with medication and may need assistance when walking on slick surfaces like tile.I am available through our Foster to Adopt program. This program helps pets awaiting or under medical treatment be placed in with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If interested in fostering through our Foster to Adopt program, sign up to be a foster online and express your interest in Maui. We can schedule a pick up and meet and greet appointment. https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/

Story
Meet Omar, as he is a husky pup, he has a flair for the dramatic. He's a natural-born performer, always seeking to be the center of attention and commanding everyone's attention with his howls. Omar would thrive in a home with a family that appreciates his occasional tantrums (which he insists are just 'method acting'). He's also prone to 'rehearsing' his lines for upcoming performances, which usually involves barking loudly and stomping his paws on the floor. He does do well with other dogs, and is loving to everyone he meets. The adoption fee for this pet is $75. This cost includes spay/neuter, microchip, and all vaccines.June 17, 2024, 8:54 pm

Story
Who says your soulmate has to have 2 legs? Hi! My name is Yeti and I will fit just like your old comfortable shoes if you give me a chance. I was super cute as a puppy, but now at age 8 I am the perfect companion. No need to potty train me! I enjoy naps and cuddles and it might take me a little time for me to get used to a new family, but for sure once we get to know each other we will be best friends. I am not fond of cats or small dogs, but get along well with the four legged friends my size. I would do best with older kids in the house.  Please fill an application at https://texashuskyrescue.org/apply-to-adopt/ and let’s be happy together!    June 17, 2024, 11:17 am
