Story
Adopt Garson the Pug – Your New Best Friend! Hello there! My name is Garson, and I’m a pug with a big personality packed into a small, wrinkly body. I may look like a little gentleman with my curly tail and soulful eyes, but don’t let my size fool you—I’ve got a heart as wide as the desert sky. Now, let me tell you my story. On my paperwork, they’ve got me listed as being 2 years old, but between you and me, I’m a bit wiser than that. I’m probably closer to 5 or 6 years old, which means I’ve already learned a few of life’s lessons. I know how to enjoy the simple things: a sunny spot on the porch, a leisurely walk on the leash, and a cozy nap after dinner. I was picked up as a stray, so my past is a mystery. But here’s the good news—I’m ready to write my future with you! &#226&#156&#168 My Best Qualities Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped – I’m all set and safe for my new adventure. Good on leash – I’ll happily trot alongside you, showing off my pug strut. Independent spirit – I love companionship, but I’m also content to do my own thing. Kennel buddy approved – I share my space with a small female dog, so I know how to be polite with canine friends. Cat potential – Nobody’s tested me with cats yet, but pugs usually do just fine with them. My Dream Home I imagine myself living with an older family who appreciates a calm, steady companion. I’m not really the type for roughhousing with tiny children, but if you’re looking for a loyal little guy who enjoys peace and quiet, I’m your match. I’ll be the one to greet you with a wagging tail when you come home, sit by your side while you read or watch TV, and remind you to smile when life feels busy. Why Choose Me? There are lots of dogs out there, but here’s why I think you’ll fall in love with me: I’ve got the classic pug charm—big round eyes, a squishy face, and a curly tail that never quits. I’m past the puppy stage, so I won’t chew your shoes or keep you up all night. I’m adaptable. Whether you live in a house with a yard or an apartment with a balcony, I’ll find my favorite spot and make it my kingdom. I’m a conversation starter. People can’t resist stopping to say hello when they see me on walks. A Day in the Life with Garson Picture this: You wake up in the morning, and there I am, waiting patiently for breakfast. After a nice meal, we head out for a stroll. I don’t pull or tug—I just enjoy the fresh air and the sights. Later, while you sip your coffee or read the paper, I curl up nearby, snoring softly like a little engine. In the afternoon, maybe we take another walk or I keep you company while you garden. By evening, I’m ready to relax with you on the couch. I don’t need much—just love, a comfy bed, and the joy of being part of your family. How to Meet Me If you’re thinking, “Garson sounds like the perfect addition to our home,” then I’d love to meet you! Please send an email to mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment. Come visit me, see my curly tail wag in person, and let’s find out if we’re meant to be together. Final Woof Life gave me a second chance when I was rescued, and now I’m hoping you’ll give me my forever home. I may have started as a stray, but I’m ready to become someone’s cherished companion. My paws are crossed that it’s you! So, what do you say? Let’s start our adventure together. I promise to bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love into your life. Story
Hi there, future best friend! I'm Frisco! Are you looking for a furry sidekick who’s equal parts snuggle bug and adventure buddy? Well, guess what — I’m your guy! I’m a pug mix with a short brindle coat that shines in the sun, about 20–25 pounds of pure love and tail wags, and just over a year old. I may be young, but I’ve got an old soul when it comes to cuddles and companionship. I was picked up as a stray (I know, wild right?), and I had to hang out at the pound for over two months before the amazing folks at Central Arizona Animal Rescue came to my rescue. Now I’m living it up with my kennel buddies — we get along great! I’m not much of a barker, but I am a big fan of people. Seriously, if you’ve got a lap, I’ve got a nap planned for it. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I feel about them — but I’m open-minded! I’m the kind of pup who’s just as happy chilling at home as I am hitting the trails or splashing at the beach. I’ve got the perfect size for both couch cuddles and outdoor adventures. So, what do you say? Want to meet me and see if we’re a match made in tail-wagging heaven? Just email mike@caaronline.org to set up a time. I’ll be waiting with my best puppy eyes and a heart full of hope. Love, licks, and lots of wiggles, Frisco   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt.
