Story
Max is a sensitive, low-key guy who wants a calm home and a person he can bond with deeply. He’s not a social dog and doesn’t enjoy busy environments, high activity, or a lot of new interactions — he’s happiest with his person, his routines, and a peaceful space where he can just exist comfortably. Max would prefer to be the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention for himself. But in his current foster home, he has been learning how to live with other dogs and is becoming increasingly respectful. His quick or unexpected movements can make other dogs unsure of him, but he truly just wants calm, predictable companionship and a comfy place to sleep. Max is crate trained, potty trained, and enjoys walks, though he takes the world in at his own pace. In the car, he rides best when he’s in a kennel — otherwise he likes to wander the cabin, which isn’t ideal for safety. Give him a secure spot, and he settles in just fine. His foster describes him as sweet, goofy, and incredibly loyal. He loves quiet couch time, bedtime snuggles, and being close to his person without any pressure to be “on.” If you’re looking for a gentle, devoted companion who wants nothing more than a calm home and a loving “boy mom,” Max may be the perfect match.

🏃‍♀️ Meet Mac — The Athletic, Independent Tomboy! 🏃‍♀️ If you’re looking for a sporty, confident girl who does things on her own terms, Mac is your go-to gal. She’s the perfect mix of playful energy and independent charm, a lean, mean, adventure-loving machine who will keep you on your toes (literally). ⚡ Mac’s Highlights: Athletic & Adventurous: She can scale couches, tables, and anything else that looks like a fun challenge. Training is key, but it’s all part of her playful spirit. Independent But Friendly: She enjoys hanging near humans and other dogs, but she’s not a super cuddler — she likes to pick her moments. Dog & Kid Friendly: She’ll play nicely with pups and gently interact with kids once she’s comfortable. Leash Lover: Walks are her jam! She loves to pull ahead and explore. Kennel & Car Smart: Totally crate trained, and while she can be vocal at times, she settles down quickly. Car rides? Calm and observant. Sunshine & Fun: Loves outdoor time, playing, and soaking up the sun — she’s happiest when she’s active and free to explore. ✨ Personality Snapshot: Mac is the kind of girl who marches to her own beat — a playful, adventurous, and independent spirit who thrives with a family that can match her energy and let her shine. She’s not needy, she’s not clingy, she’s just Mac: a confident, athletic tomboy ready for her forever home.

Meet Boomer! 🐾 Boomer is a 5-year-old purebred pug with a big heart and a happy-go-lucky spirit. This beige cutie has spent his life surrounded by love and it shows—he’s friendly, well-mannered, and always ready to make new friends. Boomer is fully potty trained, crate trained, and loves being part of family life. He’s a social little guy who will bark to say hello but quickly warms up once he’s had a sniff. He’s great with people and other dogs and has an easygoing temperament that makes him a joy to have around. He’s healthy, playful, and loves his meals (he’ll tell you when it’s breakfast time!). Whether he’s lounging indoors, going for a walk, or curling up for a nap, Boomer is just happy to be near his people. Now, Boomer is looking for his next forever family — one who will give him the same loyalty and love he’s always given in return. 💛

Story
🐾 Meet Bailey — Our Sweet 13-Year-Old Gentle Soul 🐾 Bailey is a beautiful senior pug with a heart full of love and a calm, gentle spirit. At 13 years old, she’s earned her naps, her soft blankets, and all the quiet cuddles she can get. While she does have some age-related impairments in her vision and hearing, we also believe she may be showing early signs of a collapsed trachea — a common issue in older pugs. Despite these challenges, Bailey remains cheerful, curious, and always ready for mealtime or a leisurely stroll around the block. She’s fully potty trained, easygoing, and happiest in a mellow home where she can feel safe and loved. Bailey gets along well with calm dogs and cats but prefers to relax in her own cozy spot rather than join in playtime. She’s patient with people and children, though she appreciates gentle handling and a calm environment. This sweet girl is simply looking for a warm, loving home to enjoy her golden years — a soft bed, kind hands, and someone to remind her that she’s cherished every single day. 💕 Ideal Home: Quiet, loving, and patient — perfect for someone who understands the tender care senior pugs need and love to give. Bailey may be older, but her heart still shines bright. Could you be the one to give her the comfort and love she deserves?

Story
Meet Buster! 🐾 Buster is an 8-year-old tan Pug with a gentle spirit and a whole lot of love to give. Calm, friendly, and endlessly affectionate, he adores being near his people — and he’s just as sweet with strangers. He gets along well with other dogs, is comfortable around cats, and prefers to have the yard to himself when he’s outside. Buster is partially potty trained, crate trained, and enjoys his soft Pedigree meals and treats. He has no known behavioral issues — no aggression, no resource guarding, and no separation anxiety. He’s truly a low-maintenance, easygoing companion. Recently, Buster was diagnosed with diabetes, and we’ve begun his treatment plan. As we get his insulin doses and routine stabilized, we will provide applicants with an estimated monthly cost for his ongoing care so adopters know exactly what to expect. He does really well getting his injection and it is so minimally invasive he hardly notices what is happening! Buster is looking for a loving, steady home where he can be the center of attention and enjoy the peaceful companionship he loves so much. If you’re ready to open your heart to a gentle, devoted Pug who just wants to be loved, Buster might be your perfect match.

Story
💛 Meet Sharma — The Golden Girl Who Laughs in the Face of Medical Drama 💛 Every rescue has that dog — the one whose medical chart is the size of a novel but whose spirit shines brighter than everyone else’s. For us, that girl is Sharma. Sharma may technically be a “walking medical case,” but don’t you dare tell her that. She is far too busy being adorable, pawing at you for more pets, and living her best passenger-princess life to worry about anything as boring as conditions. If attitude cured illnesses, this little queen would’ve been discharged with a clean bill of health on day one. ✨ What Makes Sharma Magical: Affection Expert: If you stop petting her, she will politely — but firmly — tap you with her paw like, “Hello? My spa treatment is not over.” Senior Stunner: Soft, slow, and gentle. She moseys on walks, enjoys cuddles, and radiates calm sunshine vibes wherever she goes. Passenger Princess: Loves car rides and sightseeing. We’re not certain how well she sees the scenery, but she looks adorable pretending. Kid-Friendly: Sweet, gentle, and unbothered. As long as you aren’t rough, she thinks you're great. Dog Neutral: She’ll sniff and move on… unless it’s mealtime, then she simply bulldozes politely through the crowd. Crate Trained… But Upgraded: Sleeps in a bassinet in her foster home because queen things only. 💛 Her Medical Reality — Told With Love: Sharma has quite a bit going on, but she handles it all with grace and a wag. She has: Dry eyes (KCS) — managed with daily gel drops and meds. Chronic ear infections — may need long-term cleanings or treatments. Chronic skin infections — currently on antibiotics and already improving. A heart murmur — on stable meds that help her feel good. A little cough — likely tied to her heart/allergies and handled with meds. Severe dental disease — will need a dental once she’s stable. Hind-end weakness (pug neuropathy) — slow-moving but she still gets around with determination. Some lab changes — being monitored but improving as her infections heal. Potty training? She tries her very best. With her health issues, she may need frequent breaks, but this girl is dedicated and still makes it outside most of the time. ✨ In short: Sharma is soft, sweet, snuggly, gentle, and absolutely full of life. She’s the kind of dog who makes you slow down, breathe deeper, and appreciate the small moments — the warm naps, the tiny tail wags, and the way she leans into your hand like she has loved you forever. She’s not looking for perfection — just a family with patience, consistency, and hearts big enough to love a golden senior girl who gives that love back tenfold.
