Story
Meet Rocco — Your New Best Friend (and Professional Goofball)! 🎉 If you’re looking for a happy, playful, snuggly pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Rocco is your guy! This sweet boy is equal parts cuddle buddy and playtime pro, and he’s always ready to bring the fun. Rocco loves walks, naps, play sessions with dog friends, and treats (especially treats). He’s fully housetrained, walks calmly and confidently on leash, and does great out and about—dog parks included! Car rides? He’s excited and curious, ready for his next adventure. At home, Rocco is an affection machine. He seeks out pets, leans in for cuddles, and is happiest when he’s close to his people. He’s also great with kids and enjoys gentle, positive attention. Crates aren’t really his thing, but he does just fine using a baby gate and settles in nicely. Rocco would love a home with another playful dog around his age—he enjoys having a buddy to romp around with. He’s had a bit of goofy humping behavior in the past, but that has already improved with time and structure. Like many dogs, Rocco has a few quirks that make him uniquely him. He may bark when someone knocks or when he hears activity outside (he takes his neighborhood watch duties seriously), and he has some food guarding, so being fed separately and having a confident, dog-savvy adopter will help him shine. ✨ Rocco’s highlights: 🐾 Good with dogs 🏡 Housetrained 🧡 Super affectionate & snuggly 🎾 Playful, goofy, and fun 🚶 Calm on leash & loves walks 🗣️ Chatty, communicative, and full of personality If you want a dog who will make you laugh, keep you company, and happily curl up beside you after a day of play, Rocco is ready to be your forever plus-one. Come meet him—you might just fall in love 💙🐾

Meet Frankie 🖤🐾 Frankie is still waiting… and honestly? We’re a little shocked. This one-eyed heartthrob is a certified ladies’ man with rugged good looks (that leg scar? very “mysterious backstory”), a resilient spirit, and a personality that sneaks up on you in the best way. Frankie didn’t have an easy start, and because of that he takes a minute to trust — especially with new people. But once you’re in? You’re in. His tail starts wagging. He leans in for pets. He gets goofy and silly and lets his guard down in the sweetest way. He loves his crate (his safe space), appreciates routine, and thrives when he knows what to expect. Frankie is more of an independent guy around other dogs — he’s not looking to join a frat party, he’s looking for his person. And yes… we need to talk about his athletic ability. Frankie can clear a 3.5-foot fence like he’s training for the Olympics, so a secure yard (6 ft+) or supervised outdoor time is a must. This boy has hops. What Frankie really needs is a calm, patient home — ideally with a confident, dog-savvy woman who understands that trust is built, not rushed. He bonds deeply. He loves hard. And when he chooses you, it’s something special. No applications yet, and we truly don’t get it. Frankie is goofy, loyal, resilient, and ready for his soft landing. If you’ve got patience, a secure yard, and a heart big enough for a one-eyed gentleman with main character energy… Frankie is your guy. 🖤

Story
What if the best dog you’ll ever have just needs you to slow down? 🖤 Max has been with us since October — the longest of any dog currently available. And not because he isn’t amazing… but because he isn’t instant. Max is not a pop-up pug. He doesn’t perform for strangers. He observes first. He thinks. He assesses. It’s almost like he was a watchdog in another life — he’ll sit with his back to his foster, quietly keeping lookout like her personal security detail. He’s an incredible alert dog (Amazon drivers beware), but underneath that watchful nature is a deeply loyal, sensitive boy who bonds hard once he feels safe. Max had a loving family who had to surrender him due to landlord issues. He was adopted again from the shelter, but after only a couple of weeks, that family surrendered him to us because he became too attached to the dad. Max doesn’t love halfway — he attaches fully. When he came to us, he was reactive and didn’t get along with other dogs. Today? He lives seamlessly among nine canine roommates. That transformation didn’t happen overnight. It happened because someone gave him structure, boundaries, and patience. Max needs: ✨ Time to settle ✨ Clear leadership and consistency ✨ A calm, low-traffic home ✨ Someone who understands sensitive dogs He knows love. He just needs to trust that it won’t disappear. He’s crate trained, potty trained, knows tricks, loves walks, and enjoys car rides (secured safely). He avoids busy social scenes because they overwhelm him — he’s not your patio brunch dog. He’s your loyal shadow, your quiet protector, your ride-or-die companion. Max isn’t hard. He’s heartfelt. He isn’t too much. He just feels deeply. If you’re willing to be patient and give him the space to settle, Max will give you something far more valuable than instant — he’ll give you unwavering devotion. 🖤

Story
Meet Dez 🖤✨ If “girly pop” had a male equivalent, it would be main character energy with a side of chaos and charm — and that is Dez. When he was surrendered, we were told he’s around 6… but respectfully? This man moves like he’s 3 or 4 and just discovered espresso. He is social, fun, wild and free, and fully believes life is a party he’s hosting. Dez has a confident little strut and the personality to back it up. He LOVES his stuffie toys — like full-on toss, thrash, parade-around-the-house-with-it level love. Playtime is serious business, and he is always clocked in. He’s crate trained, uses stairs like a pro, and thrives with routine (king behavior). He’s mostly potty trained and may wear a diaper indoors as backup, but it’s rarely needed. Once he settles in, his affectionate side comes out strong — he bonds hard and fast with his people. On leash, Dez is ready to explore the world. New smells? Yes. New friends? Probably. New adventure? Absolutely. He handles everyday household noise like a champ and isn’t phased by normal activity. With other dogs, Dez just wants the vibes checked first. He’s lived peacefully with some pups and could absolutely have canine siblings — he just prefers a proper introduction so everyone’s on the same page. Respectful king. Car rides can make him a little anxious at first, but give him reassurance and he’ll settle in. He just likes to know where the party’s headed. Dez’s ideal home: ✨ Appreciates structure but loves fun ✨ Is open to meet-and-greets with resident dogs ✨ Wants a confident, goofy, big-hearted sidekick Dez is playful, magnetic, and full of personality. He will make you laugh, keep you entertained, and then crash next to you like the social butterfly he is. Wild heart. Soft center. Main character always. 🐾🖤

Story
Meet Betty — 12 Years Young, Certified Baddie 💅🐾 Betty is not a “little old lady.” Betty is a boss. A girly-pop queen. A soft-glam senior who absolutely runs her household and at least part of the neighborhood. Found as a stray? Yes. Overlooked because of age? Apparently. But don’t get it twisted — Betty didn’t miss out. She was just waiting for a throne worthy of her presence. She’s not here for marathons or chaos. She prefers luxury. Slow strolls. Plush naps. Supervising you from the coziest spot in the house. Stairs? Beneath her. Long distances? Optional. Royal treatment? Required. Betty is affectionate — but make it in charge energy. She will follow you room to room not because she needs you… but because she likes to keep her staff nearby. She leans into you, rests her head on your lap, and makes sure you know you’ve been chosen. And let’s talk about her voice. Betty is part wolf, thank you very much. She loves to softly “howel” and chat with her humans — little woos, tiny commentary, gentle dramatic flair. It’s not barking. It’s conversation. She’s calm with other dogs (they respect her), gentle with cats, easy on leash, and has zero interest in drama or guarding nonsense. House training is mostly there — she just prefers timely service, as any queen would. Betty doesn’t need perfection. She needs a soft place to land, consistent love, and someone who understands that senior girls don’t fade — they level up. If you’re ready for a funny, silly, softly howling household CEO who will love you deeply while absolutely running the show… Betty is waiting. 💛

Story
Meet Mr. Peabody 🐾 10-year-old male pug | Blind | Senior king energy Mr. Peabody is a gentle, goofy senior gentleman ready to live his best retired life — think cozy beds, predictable routines, and humans who understand his vibe. He is blind, but once he learns his space, he confidently navigates using his excellent nose, sharp hearing, and classic pug determination. Because of his vision loss, stairs are a no-go for this guy. While he can manage them with help, he would do best in a single-story home where everything stays safe and familiar. Sudden touch can startle him, so calm, respectful handling is key. Leash walks? Absolutely not his thing. 😌 Mr. Peabody has difficulty on a leash and is resistant to walking on one, which is totally understandable when you can’t see where you’re headed. He’d thrive in a home with direct access to a yard for easy potty breaks and stress-free exploring. He would do best in a kid-free home, where things stay quiet and predictable. He’s potty trained, calm in the car, free of separation anxiety, and friendly with other dogs and cats. He’s also a great eater, and once he settles in, his silly pug personality slowly but surely steals the show. If you’re looking for a low-key companion who doesn’t need walks to be happy — just love, consistency, and a comfy place to land — Mr. Peabody is ready to be your guy. 💙

Story
Monty is 1yr and 8 months. The home I had priorly got him from had a larger dog who was a bit older than monty and would attack him because monty is super hyper and very invasive. This caused monty to spend most of his day in a kennel. Monty is a very sweet boy when it comes to people however he is dog selective and a bit reactive due to fear and anxiety. I am looking for someone who preferably doesnt have any other pets. Monty gets along great with my parents female frenchie however can not be in the same room as their male frenchie. I love him so much but unfortunately due to my living situation im not able to keep him.
