Story
Gia will be ready for adoption in June 2026 Meet Gia 💕 Gia’s story starts with strength. This sweet mama was owner surrendered after needing an emergency C-section to bring her four beautiful puppies into the world. Instead of giving up, she leaned in—and has been nothing short of incredible ever since. Now that her babies are growing, it’s finally her turn to be cared for, loved on, and spoiled the way she deserves. Gia is the definition of a cuddle bug. She lives for being close to her people—whether that’s curled up on the couch, soaking up attention, or making you laugh with her silly, attention-loving personality. She’s affectionate, a little bit of a ham, and will absolutely remind you if she thinks another dog is getting more love than her (don’t worry—it’s adorable, not dramatic). She’s friendly with kids, does well with other dogs, and would likely be just fine with cats too. She especially loves playtime—tug-of-war is her favorite, so a playful pup sibling would be a huge bonus. Gia is also great in the car and enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and learning her routine after raising her pups. Like many new moms, she’s still getting back into the swing of things, but she’s doing great and will continue to thrive with consistency. A few things to know about Gia: She can be a little shy at first, but food and kindness win her over quickly She’s working on her leash manners and will need gentle guidance on walks She prefers not to be left alone for long—she truly loves being around her people She doesn’t jump on furniture easily, but she’s happiest when she’s invited up for snuggles Gia does have some mild breathing challenges, which is common for her breed. While she’s not considered special needs, her future family should be mindful of overexertion—especially in the heat. A vet has recommended nose and soft palate surgery down the line to help her breathe more comfortably. After everything she’s been through, Gia is ready for a home where she can just be a dog again—loved, safe, and part of the family. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily be your shadow (and your couch buddy), Gia might just be your girl. ✨ Ready to meet Gia? Submit an application and come see if she’s your perfect match.

Meet Frankie 🖤🐾 Frankie is still waiting… and honestly? We’re a little shocked. This one-eyed heartthrob is a certified ladies’ man with rugged good looks (that leg scar? very “mysterious backstory”), a resilient spirit, and a personality that sneaks up on you in the best way. Frankie didn’t have an easy start, and because of that he takes a minute to trust — especially with new people. But once you’re in? You’re in. His tail starts wagging. He leans in for pets. He gets goofy and silly and lets his guard down in the sweetest way. He loves his crate (his safe space), appreciates routine, and thrives when he knows what to expect. Frankie is more of an independent guy around other dogs — he’s not looking to join a frat party, he’s looking for his person. And yes… we need to talk about his athletic ability. Frankie can clear a 3.5-foot fence like he’s training for the Olympics, so a secure yard (6 ft+) or supervised outdoor time is a must. This boy has hops. What Frankie really needs is a calm, patient home — ideally with a confident, dog-savvy woman who understands that trust is built, not rushed. He bonds deeply. He loves hard. And when he chooses you, it’s something special. No applications yet, and we truly don’t get it. Frankie is goofy, loyal, resilient, and ready for his soft landing. If you’ve got patience, a secure yard, and a heart big enough for a one-eyed gentleman with main character energy… Frankie is your guy. 🖤

Story
✨ Tiny Boy. Big Heart. Meet Tomasso. ✨ Male | 3–6 years | Fawn If you’ve ever wanted a little best friend who acts like you are the greatest thing to ever happen to him… allow us to introduce Tomasso. He doesn’t just sit next to you — he commits. Couch time? Attached. Bedtime? Already claimed his spot. Walk to the kitchen? Your loyal assistant has clocked in. 💛 Professional Snuggler Status: ELITE. Toys? He’s not impressed. Zoomies? Not currently on the calendar. Being near you? Full-time job. 🏡 House Manners? Yes Please. Tomasso is housetrained, crate trained, calm in the car, and totally fine when left alone. No dramatic performances when you grab your keys. He just waits for his person to come back. He’s currently dining on Hill’s Science Diet Adult like the distinguished gentleman he is. Grass is still something he’s warming up to (the patio is his comfort zone), but he’s making steady, brave progress. 🐶 Let’s Talk Food (Real Talk, No Drama). Tomasso likes clear boundaries around meals and treats. He can get protective of food around both humans and other dogs if things feel busy or chaotic. The solution? Simple — feed him separately and give him his own calm space at treat time. Because of that, he’d do best in an adult home or one without little kids in full snack tornado mode. Mealtime structure = happy Tomasso. 💫 His Personality Gentle. Shy but deeply loving. Snuggly. Resilient. He may have had a rough start, so loud noises can still make him a little unsure. But when he trusts you? It’s intentional. It’s deep. It’s loyal-for-life energy. Tomasso isn’t the loud, center-of-the-party dog. He’s the quiet, bonds-with-his-person dog. If your home is calm, loving, and heavy on cozy evenings… Tomasso is ready to make it complete. 💛🐾

Story
Meet Betty — 12 Years Young, Certified Baddie 💅🐾 Betty is not a “little old lady.” Betty is a boss. A girly-pop queen. A soft-glam senior who absolutely runs her household and at least part of the neighborhood. Found as a stray? Yes. Overlooked because of age? Apparently. But don’t get it twisted — Betty didn’t miss out. She was just waiting for a throne worthy of her presence. She’s not here for marathons or chaos. She prefers luxury. Slow strolls. Plush naps. Supervising you from the coziest spot in the house. Stairs? Beneath her. Long distances? Optional. Royal treatment? Required. Betty is affectionate — but make it in charge energy. She will follow you room to room not because she needs you… but because she likes to keep her staff nearby. She leans into you, rests her head on your lap, and makes sure you know you’ve been chosen. And let’s talk about her voice. Betty is part wolf, thank you very much. She loves to softly “howel” and chat with her humans — little woos, tiny commentary, gentle dramatic flair. It’s not barking. It’s conversation. She’s calm with other dogs (they respect her), gentle with cats, easy on leash, and has zero interest in drama or guarding nonsense. House training is mostly there — she just prefers timely service, as any queen would. Betty doesn’t need perfection. She needs a soft place to land, consistent love, and someone who understands that senior girls don’t fade — they level up. If you’re ready for a funny, silly, softly howling household CEO who will love you deeply while absolutely running the show… Betty is waiting. 💛

Story
Meet Mr. Peabody 🐾 10-year-old male pug | Completely blind | Senior king energy Mr. Peabody is a gentle, goofy little gentleman who’s ready to settle into his best life — one filled with cozy couches, soft toys, and humans who understand his world. When he came to us, both of his eyes were in such poor condition they were at risk of rupturing, and surgical removal was necessary. Mr. Peabody now has no eyes — but don’t let that fool you. Once he learns his environment, he navigates confidently using his incredible nose, sharp hearing, and classic pug determination. And here’s the part we love most… This boy LOVES to play. Toys? Yes please. Cuddling on the couch? Even better. 💙 He’s fully potty trained, uses a doggy door like a pro, and thrives on routine and familiarity. He prefers a calm, predictable home where things stay consistent. Because of his total vision loss, his other senses are heightened — and at times, he can become protective over his food. It’s very manageable with structure (feeding separately and giving him his own space), but it’s something to be aware of. For that reason, we’d love to see him in a home where he can be the primary focus. While he gets along with other dogs, he’s not looking for a playmate — he tends to do his own thing and will happily initiate play on his own terms. 🚫 Stairs are not ideal 🚫 Leash walks aren’t his thing 🏡 Best fit: single-story home with yard access & a calm environment Mr. Peabody doesn’t need much — just love, consistency, and a soft place to land. If you’re looking for a resilient, silly, deeply lovable companion who will fill your home with quiet joy… Mr. Peabody is ready. 💙🐾
