You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.COURTESY POST Meet Edna - the Sweetest Little Survivor with a Heart of Gold Edna's story begins on a scorching August afternoon in Redlands, where this tiny pug mix was found wandering alone, exhausted and trying her best to survive the heat. We later learned she originally came from Banning, where she lived with her mate and puppies - until her former owner decided they "didn't want her anymore" abandoning her miles away to fend for herself. But Edna refused to let that be the end of her story. Since being rescued, Edna has blossomed into the most endearing little companion. Her shy shell cracked open to reveal a gentle, cuddly, snack-loving lap dog who wants nothing more than to be close to her person. She is truly the definition of a soft place to land - whether it's curling into your side for naps or following you around the house with her tiny tail wagging. Edna gets along wonderfully with cats, big dogs, little dogs, and respectful children. Her ideal home would include another calm dog or cat to keep her company, but she would be just as happy being the one-and-only treasured pet to a human who is home often and loves cuddle time as much as she does. This sweet girl comes fully loaded and ready for her forever!  Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, potty trained, crate trained, leash trained. This one-year old pug mix found himself at the shelter, where he was immediately met with what he considered a very rude introduction - vaccinations. We humans know they're necessary, but Apollo wasn't shy about expressing his strong disapproval. His honesty landed him a "rescue only" label, and just like that, he was on borrowed time. Enter OURS. Understandably, Apollo was a little unsure at first. But then - almost overnight - he realized life with us wasn't so bad. In fact, it was pretty great. He's since taken on the role of "Uncle Apollo" to a crew of bottle-fed pug puppies and rambunctious terrier pups, and let us tell you - watching this once-defensive little guy get climbed on and loved by his tiny nieces and nephews is nothing short of heart-melting. Apollo takes a minute to warm up to new people. He might bark at first, but we like to think he's just telling you his story. And once he's shared his tale and decides you're part of it? He's the sweetest, most loyal kiddo around. Apollo is looking for a family who understands that trust takes a moment, but love lasts forever. Could that be you?
