This one-year old pug mix found himself at the shelter, where he was immediately met with what he considered a very rude introduction - vaccinations. We humans know they're necessary, but Apollo wasn't shy about expressing his strong disapproval. His honesty landed him a "rescue only" label, and just like that, he was on borrowed time. Enter OURS. Understandably, Apollo was a little unsure at first. But then - almost overnight - he realized life with us wasn't so bad. In fact, it was pretty great. He's since taken on the role of "Uncle Apollo" to a crew of bottle-fed pug puppies and rambunctious terrier pups, and let us tell you - watching this once-defensive little guy get climbed on and loved by his tiny nieces and nephews is nothing short of heart-melting. Apollo takes a minute to warm up to new people. He might bark at first, but we like to think he's just telling you his story. And once he's shared his tale and decides you're part of it? This is Winston, an 8 yr old purebred English Bulldog. We have had to make the difficult decision to rehome him. With a newborn baby and a move into a much smaller apartment, we dont have the space or time to give him the attention he deserves anymore. Winston is a big sweetheart and full of love, with no concerning behaviors. Hes great with kids (hes lived with two toddlers and has always been so patient and gentle with them). Hes good with cats, and does fine with other dogs, especially with smaller ones, but does best with slow introductions. He has allergies, which are managed with a daily Apoquel tablet, and is also prone to ear infections, which can be treated with an ear wash. Hes such a sweet boy, and we just want him to find the right home. Please reach out if you think Winston is a good fit.

We found him about a year ago abandoned. We took him for training at K9 Companion. He’s up-to-date on all his shots and is fixed. He needs someone who can give him attention and structure in his life. He is truly a great dog. I need to find him a home soon, with a Loving Mommy or Daddy. if you or you know anyone that can take this beautiful dog in and give him a loving home. He does not get along with other dogs.
