Cookie is a smal 6-year-old lap dog who loves to cuddle and be close to her people. She can be a little timid when meeting someone new, but once she feels comfortable, she’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal. She’s very smart and has so much love to give. One thing I want to be transparent about is that Cookie isn’t fully potty trained. This isn’t because she’s stubborn or unable to learn. Over the past few years, my mother’s health has declined significantly, and because of that, Cookie hasn’t had the consistent routine and training that every dog needs. She does very well when she’s taken outside on a regular schedule and will also use potty pads inside, but with consistency and patience, I truly believe she can continue to improve. Making the decision to rehome her has been incredibly difficult. My mother’s health has reached a point where she can no longer give Cookie the care, attention, and daily routine she deserves.
