Abandoned by his “family” for “no time” but they had him since he was 6 weeks old when they bought him from a breeder. He became inconvenient as a senior. He was so stressed and confused when he first came to us but he’s settled in nicely with his foster and he is an absolute pleasure. Such a snuggly little grandpa. He lights up when he is around children. And when you hold him, he is so soothing for the soul, he’s like a healing crystal. :) He came to us with major ear infections and a yuck mouth. He’s all good now.

Winnie the Chug is lucky to be alive. Kind strangers alerted our friends at HOPE FOR PAWS about an injured animal in the rain at the golf course. She'd been surviving on the streets for too long, attacked by an animal, old leg injury left untreated healed strangely, in heat, malnourished, yet still so grateful for kindness. She's on the mend for sure. Holds no grudges about her past. Very affectionate, gentle and calm. About 2 years old.

Hi there! My name is Cindy and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I am a 1 year old, female, Pug and Beagle mix. Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission. Hope to see you soon!
