Story
Pickles is a lovely little guy. Very sweet temperament. Found as a stray. He shows signs of having been bred, so most likely another breeder dump. But that is all behind him now and he's not holding a grudge. Pickles is just a sweet little gherkin, ready for a forever family. He gets along with everyone, kids (see pic), dogs, cats, people of all ages. Pickles is about 6yo, 22lbs, fabulous with other animals and people of all ages.

Story
Meet Yogi! Yogi is a low-key sweetheart with a heart full of love for the people he trusts. If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to curl up at your feet, soak up belly rubs, and be your shadow, Yogi might be your perfect match. Like many sensitive dogs, Yogi needs a little time to warm up to new people. He thrives when introductions are slow and pressure-free, and once he feels safe, his affectionate personality shines. He's smart, eager to learn, and already knows several commands, including sit, stay, come, down, go to bed, and go to place. He's even working on "drop it!" Yogi enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. Most of the day, he's happy napping nearby, but he'll surprise you with short bursts of playful energy for a game of fetch or tug before settling back in for another cuddle. On walks, Yogi is easy to handle and doesn't pull. He's very responsive to his person—especially when high-value treats are involved! Because he's nervous around unfamiliar dogs, he may bark or become excited when he sees them. With slow, thoughtful introductions, Yogi can make dog friends and has even done well at the dog park, though he's still building confidence and isn't quite ready to play with every dog he meets. Yogi would do best with an adopter who understands that confidence takes time to build. He has some separation anxiety and prefers having his people close by, but he's making progress. He's mostly house-trained, sleeps comfortably in his crate, and continues to improve with patience and consistency. If you're willing to give Yogi the time he needs to settle in, you'll be rewarded with an incredibly loving, devoted best friend who will happily trade endless belly rubs for unconditional loyalty. Could Yogi be the missing piece of your family?

Story
The silliest, sweetest, and most lovable dog ever....meet Cosmo! Cosmo is a male, 2 year old, 18lb Pug who is the cutest little dog ever! He came to us as an owner surrender who no longer had time for him. We were asked if we could take him into our foundation and we said yes! Sadly, he came with bad skin and we took him immediately to our vet who determined it was bacterial and Cosmo was started on antibiotics and medicated baths. He is doing great and his skin looks so much better! We have had him vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. We are looking for a pug savvy home that knows the breed well. Owners that are not gone long hours during the day would be ideal along with a home that has a safe and secure backyard for him to play in. We want to place him where there is another dog for him to frolic and grow with as he absolutely loves other dogs! Cosmo is such a wonderful dog with so much love and fun energy. We promised him that we won't stop until we find him the best forever home out there! Cosmo is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. We only adopt in So Calif as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial are required. Please contact us at: gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020
