Story
Breed: Pug mix Age: 1 yr. Weight: 12.8 Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unsure Good with kids: unsure Energy level: unsure Good with men/strangers: yes Hypoallergenic: no Special home requirements or medical: none Additional info: Roqi is as sweet and snuggly as they come. He's a love bug who's happy to have a warm leg to lay his head on. He's really easy, and a total joy, to have around the house. He sleeps all night and doesn't make a peep! He is housebroken and does really well going potty on walks and trips outside. While I'm working from home, he lays beside me quietly with a toy. He loves treats, walks, and most of all, snuggles. He's a really good boy and would make an amazing addition to your family! Story
This handsome fellow is Benjamin. Isn't he cute? Benjamin is a male, 22lb, purebred Pug. He came to us when we rescued him from the Santa Monica Shelter where he was an owner surrender. This sweet fellow was listed as 10 yrs old and probably because he wasn't in the best condition, but out vet believes he is closer to 5 years old. His owner left him with a big abscess on his neck from skin allergies and he was not neutered. Once we got him to our vet who started immediate treatment on his skin, we saw his true personality come out...and it was all love and kisses! Benjamin is a happy, sweet, and playful little guy who absolutely falls in love with his "person." We are looking for a home for him where the owners are not gone long hours during the day and can spend lots of time with this cutie pie like he deserves! Benjamin can be your one and only pup in the home getting all the attention or he could be placed with another sweet/calm dog. We are so happy that we were able to rescue Benjamin as we see so much love in those soulful eyes and we know that his forever home is out there. Benjamin is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be neutered soon We only adopt in the Greater LA areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. Please contact us at gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020 Benjamins adoption fee is $550

Story
Meet Gherkin and Dillan: A Perfect Pair of Playful Hearts THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER Gherkin and Dillan are one-year-old pug mixes who didn’t come from the same home, but you’d never know it. Since meeting, they’ve formed a bond that’s both deep and delightful. They are the best kind of duo: Gherkin is the brains – clever, curious, and always thinking – while Dillan is the lovable goofball, full of charm and comedic timing. Together, they’re pure joy. These two are like toddlers in dog form. They’ll play and play until they can barely keep their eyes open, then snuggle up and snooze like babies. Their days are filled with chase games, silly antics, and the kind of companionship that warms your heart just watching them. Gherkin’s intelligence means he’s quick to figure things out (including how to get into places he maybe shouldn’t), while Dillan is all about fun and bringing a smile to your face. They’re crate trained and doing really well with housebreaking. A secure yard is a must. Both because they’re small and because their inquisitive natures mean they’re always exploring. Each morning, they greet you with uncontainable joy, squealing and wiggling like it’s the best day of their lives just because you walked into the room. They adore their people, and they’ll absolutely adore their forever family. Gherkin and Dillan are ready to fill your home with laughter, love, and the kind of companionship that only comes once in a lifetime. If your home could use a little more heart and a whole lot more fun, these two are waiting to meet you! The darker pup is Dillan. https://dawgsquad.org/adoption-application/
