Story
Daria is a Pug mix with a bright personality and an irresistible mix of charm and puppy enthusiasm. Smart, playful, and full of happy energy, she approaches life with curiosity and a goofy sense of fun. Daria is incredibly affectionate and loves people, soaking up attention and returning it with plenty of tail wags and kisses. She gets along well with other dogs and would do great in a home ready for puppy playtime and continued training. Bubbly, loving, and endlessly entertaining, Daria is still learning about the world and would thrive with a family excited to guide her as she grows.

Abandoned by his “family” for “no time” but they had him since he was 6 weeks old when they bought him from a breeder. He became inconvenient as a senior. He was so stressed and confused when he first came to us but he’s settled in nicely with his foster and he is an absolute pleasure. Such a snuggly little grandpa. He lights up when he is around children. And when you hold him, he is so soothing for the soul, he’s like a healing crystal. :) He came to us with major ear infections and a yuck mouth. He’s all good now.

Story
One lucky dog!!! She had been living on the streets in Chinatown near DTLA for several weeks. She was weary of people and would not come to anyone. Thankfully someone reached out to our friends at Hope For Paws and they were able to trap her. Once she was caught, she was so happy/relieved! She was infested with fleas, filthy and so grateful. We are really not sure on her breed/mix but she’s got the pug eyes and smile. She is extremely easy going with other animals and people.

Story
He was found and we took him in while we searched for his family. We searched for a year but it looks like he might have been abandoned. Unfortunately my daughter's allergies have gotten worse so we aren't able to keep him. He was shy and scared the first few days but then he opened up. He loves running in the back yard we named him Max. He is almost 2 years old vaccines are up to date. He has a quarter size bald spot on his right leg. Vet thinks he had a reaction to a earlier vaccine, so far it hasn't spread or shown any other symptoms towards any vaccine. He loves lots of attention and rubs. Plays well with chewing toys and balls. He's a little scared of showers but not that it would stop him from getting groomed. He is a little scared going up or down long stairs, usually needs to be carried. He eats well and drinks lots of water.

Story
Pug puppy mixes...so cute...so adorable! These two little cuties came to us when a rescuer we work with asked for help. She was contacted by an owner who was surrendering these sweet little angels. Jax and Juno are 6 month old siblings that are friendly, playful, and so loving! They are a mix of pug and chihuahua...called a Chug. Ideally, we would love to see them get adopted together as they do so well with each other, but we would also separate them into homes that have another sweet and playful dog. Owners that are not gone long hours during the day and a home with a safe and secure yard would be ideal for these playful pups. If you are looking for a new addition to add to your family...look no further as Jax and Juno are pure perfection! Jax and Juno are vaccinated, microchipped, and will be spayed/neutered at the appropriate age. We only adopt in So California as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. Please contact us at: gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020

Story
Meet Lily: The Queen of Zoomies & Snuggles! Looking for a pup who will shower you with love, keep you laughing, and turn every day into an adventure? Lily is pure love, sunshine and unfiltered joy. Lily has never met a stranger—just future best friends she hasn’t licked yet. And she loves with the enthusiasm of someone who just found out belly rubs are free. She’s never met a person she didn’t adore, a dog she didn’t want to be best friends with, or a snack she didn’t think was rightfully hers. Personal space? That’s a concept Lily simply does not recognize. Whether she’s zooming through the yard like a tiny tornado or flopping dramatically into your lap for belly rubs, Lily is all about living life to the fullest. If you’re looking for a snuggle- loving, zoomie-powered, joy-spreading best friend who will make every day more entertaining, Lily is your girl. Come meet her-you won’t regret it (though your personal space might.)

Story
Rosco has already been through more than most dogs ever should, but you’d never know it from the joy in his smile. This resilient little Boston Terrier survived the heartbreaking loss of not one, but two owners who passed away. An independent rescuer in Bakersfield took him in, but with too many dogs already in her care, she reached out to our team so Rosco could finally find the forever home he truly deserves. We’re really hoping the third time’s a charm for this special guy. Rosco is 6 years old and weighs 16 pounds. He’s incredibly sweet, friendly, and loves attention and pets. He has wonderful manners, is very patient, and greets people with the cutest smile. He enjoys exploring, is doing great pottying on his walks, and is not reactive on a leash. Rosco is also easy going, gentle and does great with other dogs and kids. Fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped, Rosco is ready for a final loving and stable home to call his own! More from his foster: Roscoe is a sweet, calm dog with so much love to give. He loves to be snuggled up next to people or buried under blankets. He enjoys going for walks and is sweet with every person he meets. -------- Looking to Adopt? Submit a Rescue Questionnaire! Please be thorough in your answers.
