Story
Meet Booger! This distinguished gentleman has only one eye and came from a hoarding situation along with Bubbles, Winnie, Prissy, and Boo Bear. Our rescue partner says they are all great pups who love to snuggle other dogs! From his foster: "Meet Booger! Booger is the most chill guy. He loves lounging around but is also always ready for a stroll outside. He is very loyal to his person and loves to shower them with affection. While he's a total lover, Booger is great about entertaining himself when necessary. He doesn't play with toys just yet but I bet he could learn! Booger loves every person he meets. He is never too shy too plop in someone's lap upon just meeting them. He also is great with other animals, very polite and respectful of other animals space. All around such an amazing guy. His ideal adopter will be prepared to help him lose a solid 8-10 lbs so he can feel like the king he is again." P.S. This chunk nugget could stand lose several pounds! ADOPTION FEE: $300 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Bud is guessed to be a 1.5 year old wire haired terrier mix. He has a puppy face, and is only 11 pounds. He absolutely loves kids and other dogs. He knows how to sit, lay down and stay. He is the ultimate cuddler and if he isn’t on your lap, he is under the covers on his back with his legs in the air. When he runs, he kicks up his front feet and it is the cutest thing ever. He will have that puppy look forever! He is being fostered in Thornton and ready for his forever home! Apply today to meet him!

Story
Ever heard of a sweet Tater Tot? Well, let me introduce you to one! Tater Tot is the sweetest, friendliest, happiest little boy ever!! I mean, just look at that smile! And you can probably tell by that telltale cinnamon bun tail, he’s part Pug. Not sure what the other part is, but more than likely Beagle. Whatever Tater may be made up of, he is 100% adorable and his eyeliner game is on point! Here’s what he has to say for himself (duh, of course he talks). “Hi I’m Tater Tot, and I’m quirky! I’m not like a regular quirky, I’m a cool quirky, or at least that’s what they keep telling me 😄 Personally, I just think it makes me all the more endearing 🥰 I’m not really sure what made me this way – maybe it’s just my age, I am only 1½ after all – but I do know that I am so much happier after leaving TX and getting to come to CO. And speaking of happy, I’m a pretty easy guy to please. I just need 2 naps, a good amount of chewing, playing (inside and outside), snuggling, and 2 or 3 short little walks every day, and I’ll be the happiest little Tot ever! Sometimes I get a little too happy and excited when I get overstimulated. And I am working very hard on learning how to keep that all in check. My foster mom tells me all the time how smart I am and how quickly I learn things, but sometimes it’s really difficult. Like when I go outside, especially for walks……can you blame me though? Have you seen what’s out there? Outside is the best and I want to get to wherever we’re going as fast as I can! There’s so many interesting things to see, hear, sniff, and yes, sometimes try to eat (my least cool quirk, by far 🫤). If I do try and eat something I’m not supposed to, I’m asked to drop it and then am given a delicious treat when I do. I love when that happens! If I don’t listen, then I don’t get a treat and we have to go inside. I don’t like it when that happens. But not as much as I don’t like being scolded or yelled at. That makes me very sad and scared. I am all about the positive reinforcement and redirection!! Now for the basics, I am fully potty trained, sleep wonderfully in my crate at night, I’m not able to free roam unsupervised yet, but hopefully that will come with time and training, and I love all dogs and people. In fact, I would really love to have my very own doggie sibling to play with and help me learn the ways of the doggie world. I will thrive in a calm and structured home environment, with a family that is around most of the time. I love spending time with my people and want them to be an active part of my life. Oh, and I definitely need a fenced-in yard, there’s nothing better than running around without a harness and leash! If you think I might be a good fit for your family, I would really love to meet you!” Tater Tot is in foster in Westminster, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/tater-tot-2/. Scrabble is a squishy puggy fella and he's sure to put a smile on your face! We bet he'll be a great adventure buddy this summer! To help make sure Scrabble finds the right fit, we are requiring a doggie intro here at the shelter if he is going to a multi dog home.

Story
Hi. My name is Poppy, and I am a Pug/Chihuahua mix.  I am 14 months old, weigh about nine pounds and everyone says I am cute as a button and full of personality. I love to play, take walks, ride in the car, and snuggle. I have a lot of foster mutt siblings at my foster home. I like most of them, but one is really big. Foster mama says he weighs thirty pounds! She tells me he is very friendly, but I am not so sure of that, so I have to show him who’s boss. Foster mama says I can be protective of my favorite human around the other resident mutts. She says it's understandable because I didn't have the easiest past and so I want to make sure I keep tabs on the nice humans.  My best fit forever family or human would be a patient and loving adult or adults, maybe with another dog my size.  I like treats, lots of cuddles, and sleeping curled up with my human. I also like to go wherever my human is going. Sometimes I dash out the door in excitement, but I come back when mama calls. My new family will have to understand that I am just a little thing. The world can be scary, and I need to show how brave and fierce I am. (Mama says that is the Chihuahua in me.) If you're interested in adopting Poppy, please fill out an adoption application here: https://underdogsrescue.org/adopt-form/ Underdogs is a small volunteer-based animal rescue and we unfortunately do not have the resources to respond to phone and email inquires about our adoptable animals at this time. If you're interested in learning more or setting up a meeting with one of our animals, please complete an adoption application first. It may take up to two weeks for application review and one of our coordinators will reach out to you as soon as we are through the intitial review process. We appreciate your patience and understanding! Thank you! ##1943487##
