Story
Tater Tot is just a big ol’ ray of sunshine. He’s a friendly, playful, fun-loving, happy-go-lucky, ball of joy. And don’t let that small size fool you, that cute little ball of joy is wrapped up in a big ball of energy. He’s no couch potato – except for at night after dinner, lol! But Tater’s energy isn’t the walk 5 miles kind of energy. His is the play and interaction kind of energy! Because of this, we’ve found Tater is happiest in a home with another playful dog. He likes to play chase and wrestle with in the backyard, and really loves when his humans fetch with his favorite ball. He is whip smart and aims to please so he learns quickly with lots of positive reinforcement. You will never have a dull moment with Tater Tot in your life. He’s goofy, and silly, and has an amazing zest for life. He has a lot of love to give and will quickly find a way into your heart. Tater is approx 2-2.5 years old. He’s house and crate trained. Tater needs a feline free home and a fenced in yard. Tater Tot is in foster in Westminster, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/tater-tot-2/. Story
Tink & Tucker, they go together like peas and carrots. This adorable pug combo are 3 years old. They were purchased as puppies from a breeder and have grown up in the same home. It’s not often we think of dogs as being truly bonded, but these two do everything together. While they’re very clearly bff’s, they ADORE humans. Their favorite place to play is directly on their human’s lap. They’re crate trained, fairly well house trained, walk fine on the leash, and are overall very entertaining little aliens (according to their foster mom). Tink & Tucker grew up with kiddos (babies on up) and are kid approved! They are also dog friendly but don’t require another dog in their home. Tink & Tucker is in foster in Boulder, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/tink-tucker/. Story
Hi. My name is Poppy, and I am a Pug/Chihuahua mix.  I am 14 months old, weigh about nine pounds and everyone says I am cute as a button and full of personality. I love to play, take walks, ride in the car, and snuggle. I have a lot of foster mutt siblings at my foster home. I like most of them, but one is really big. Foster mama says he weighs thirty pounds! She tells me he is very friendly, but I am not so sure of that, so I have to show him who’s boss. Foster mama says I can be protective of my favorite human around the other resident mutts. She says it's understandable because I didn't have the easiest past and so I want to make sure I keep tabs on the nice humans.  My best fit forever family or human would be a patient and loving adult or adults, maybe with another dog my size.  I like treats, lots of cuddles, and sleeping curled up with my human. I also like to go wherever my human is going. Sometimes I dash out the door in excitement, but I come back when mama calls. My new family will have to understand that I am just a little thing. The world can be scary, and I need to show how brave and fierce I am. (Mama says that is the Chihuahua in me.) If you're interested in adopting Poppy, please fill out an adoption application here: https://underdogsrescue.org/adopt-form/ Underdogs is a small volunteer-based animal rescue and we unfortunately do not have the resources to respond to phone and email inquires about our adoptable animals at this time. If you're interested in learning more or setting up a meeting with one of our animals, please complete an adoption application first. It may take up to two weeks for application review and one of our coordinators will reach out to you as soon as we are through the intitial review process. We appreciate your patience and understanding! Thank you! ##1943487##

Story
Hey there, I am re-homing my pug, Penny. I got her when she was 8 weeks old and now she just turned 5. I am realizing that I am not a dog mom and travel a lot for work. I think she would be really happy with a dog lover or a family home. She loves playing ball or chewing on her bones. She is also a very active pug who loves hiking, camping, and puts up with paddleboarding lol. We have lived and currently live with another dog but Penny is definitely alpha. I think she does better when we live alone because she is more calm and doesn't have to share her toys. She is a small pug with a big personality; definitely a little spunky/ sassy. She doesn't like to be picked up but will cuddle with you on the couch/ bed. She will follow you around the house. Happy to chat more in person/ phone.
