Story
"Bug is one-eyed wonder with a BIG personality! At just 8 months old, she’s already had a tough start in life, with the loss of one eye, but that hasn’t stopped her from being one of the sweetest, goofiest, and most affectionate dogs you could ever meet. Bug’s personality is absolutely one-of-a-kind. She has a little obsession with smelling people’s chins as her way of saying hello and showing affection. She also has a hilariously stubborn belief that once she’s on a chair, she cannot get off without help. Her foster family has learned to anticipate this dramatic moment, which never fails to make them laugh. Every day with Bug brings a new funny little quirk that keeps everyone smiling. She’s a social pup who gets along beautifully with kids, cats, and other dogs. She’s leash-trained and loves to explore, but she also enjoys snuggling up and sharing her affection. Bug has mastered crate training and is making excellent progress with potty training. She’s smart, eager to please, and ready to learn more with a patient and loving family. Despite her missing eye, Bug’s spirit is whole and full of life. She’s incredibly sweet, cuddly, and always looking for someone to love. She’s ready to find her forever family, the one who will embrace her quirky personality, laugh with her, and give her the love she’s been dreaming of. If you’re ready for daily laughs, cuddles, and a heart full of unconditional love, Bug is ready to meet you!" Pug Bug is being fostered in Longmont, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/pug-bug/. Story
Hi. My name is Poppy, and I am a Pug/Chihuahua mix.  I am 14 months old, weigh about nine pounds and everyone says I am cute as a button and full of personality. I love to play, take walks, ride in the car, and snuggle. I have a lot of foster mutt siblings at my foster home. I like most of them, but one is really big. Foster mama says he weighs thirty pounds! She tells me he is very friendly, but I am not so sure of that, so I have to show him who’s boss. Foster mama says I can be protective of my favorite human around the other resident mutts. She says it's understandable because I didn't have the easiest past and so I want to make sure I keep tabs on the nice humans.  My best fit forever family or human would be a patient and loving adult or adults, maybe with another dog my size.  I like treats, lots of cuddles, and sleeping curled up with my human. I also like to go wherever my human is going. Sometimes I dash out the door in excitement, but I come back when mama calls. My new family will have to understand that I am just a little thing. The world can be scary, and I need to show how brave and fierce I am. (Mama says that is the Chihuahua in me.) If you're interested in adopting Poppy, please fill out an adoption application here: https://underdogsrescue.org/adopt-form/ Underdogs is a small volunteer-based animal rescue and we unfortunately do not have the resources to respond to phone and email inquires about our adoptable animals at this time. If you're interested in learning more or setting up a meeting with one of our animals, please complete an adoption application first. It may take up to two weeks for application review and one of our coordinators will reach out to you as soon as we are through the intitial review process. We appreciate your patience and understanding! Thank you! ##1943487##

Story
Hi! I'm Audrey, an approximately 10-month-old, 20-pound Pug mix with a gentle, sensitive spirit. I may be a bit timid at first, but with patience and kindness, I warm up into a sweet, loyal companion. I love exploring and making new friends, both human and canine. I make my foster parents laugh all the time when I'm playing with my toys! I’m still learning how to walk nicely on a leash so a house with a yard would be wonderful! I am also working on house training. I know how to use a dog door, but I don't know really what it's for. On the other hand, I can definitely help with laundry as I am really good at sorting it! Apply for me and come meet me in Windsor.

Story
*Rick will not be in attendance at our adoption event on December 20th. Please get in touch if you are interested in learning more about him!* Meet Rick – The Happiest Pug You’ll Ever Meet! If you're looking for a joyful, confident, and playful companion, look no further! Rick might be the happiest dog in the world (according to his current foster dad!). With his sunny disposition, he’s ready to bring endless smiles and wagging tails into his new home. Rick is as friendly as they come. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Whether it’s playing with his two big 50lb foster siblings or snuggling with his tiny 10lb friend, he is always ready for some fun and affection. Rick is house trained, kennel trained, and has excellent manners – making him a great addition to any home. This active little guy is looking for a friendly, outgoing family where he can shine and share his love and joy. Whether you’re an active family who loves outdoor adventures, or just looking for a lovable, happy buddy to relax with, Rick will be the perfect best friend. If you’re ready to welcome this sweet, confident, and playful pug into your life, reach out to us today – Rick is waiting to meet you! Rick is a 1-year-old Pug rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Rick is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption!
