Story
Meet Auggie Auggie is seeking a local, adult only home with a fenced yard and a similarly sized playmate! Auggie is an adorable 6.5 yr old, 15 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who was picked up a stray and never reclaimed. He was highly stressed in the shelter and we didn’t hesitate to pull him when his time was up. Auggie is a sweet silly boy, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. He loves toys! He enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. Auggie loves to play with other similar sized energetic dogs but is intimidated by bigger dogs. He is looking for a home with another small dog and will not be placed in a home with big dogs! . Older dogs may not appreciate his enthusiasm. He does okay with a dog savvy cat but for cats not used to dogs he would not be a good fit. Auggie is a resource guarder and because of this he will not be placed in a home with children. He has super sensitive hearing and will protect you from the UPS truck so apartment living is not in his future! Auggie is crate trained and housetrained. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, HW tested negative and on prevention. He does need to lose a couple pounds. Auggie has been in foster care for quite some time now and we really dont know why - we know the perfect home is out there somewhere! LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE

Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Lola Jean and Angus Daniel are a bonded 2-year-old pair who are looking for a home together, where they can continue to thrive side by side. Lola Jean is a female Bulldog mix with a fun, enthusiastic personality. She is food motivated (she LOVES her treats!!) and enjoys learning and engaging with people. She has moderate to high energy and can get very excited when heading somewhere she’s interested in, which can lead to some strong pulling on leash. In her kennel, she has been reliable and has not had accidents. Angus Daniel is a 2-year-old Scottish Terrier mix who tends to be more calm and easygoing. He walks very well on leash and has a relaxed presence overall. He is still working on consistency with potty habits and may occasionally have accidents in his kennel, but he is continuing to improve. Together, Lola Jean and Angus Daniel bring out the best in each other. They are both noticeably more settled, confident, and content when they are together, and their bond provides them with comfort and balance. They are looking for a home that can welcome them both and continue supporting their individual needs while celebrating the strong connection they share. Lola Jean currently weighs about 42lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 08/16/02023), and her adoption fee is $315. Lola Jean has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Lola Jean, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
Meet Beetle Bug — Your Little Shadow with a Big Heart  Beetle Bug is a lovable, one-of-a-kind pup looking for a forever home to call his own! Just a little over 3 years old and weighing about 23 pounds, this adorable black pup is a unique mix of Pug, Chihuahua, and Shih Tzu — which basically means he got the best parts of all three breeds.  He was born at his foster's home, was adopted and loved for three years until the owner couldn't care for him anymore.  He was a little nervous at first, but is feeling at home now. Beetle Bug is a sweet, affectionate boy who enjoys being close to his people and soaking up attention. He has a gentle personality and a loyal nature, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a devoted best friend. Whether he’s relaxing nearby, following you from room to room, or settling in for cuddle time, Beetle Bug simply loves being part of the family. He’s past the puppy chaos but still young enough to enjoy adventures, walks, and playtime. At 23 pounds, he’s the perfect size — big enough for fun outings but small enough to be an easy house companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, charming dog with lots of love to give, Beetle Bug may be your perfect match.     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
A WONDERFUL DOG FRIEND: Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 31 lbs. Hi there, I’m Vivian! I’m a darling dog who found myself in need of a new home and I’m grateful that Mostly Mutts has taken me in to help me do just that. I love my time with the wonderful volunteers and had a great time in a couple of temporary foster homes too!      • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, and I enjoyed playing with and running around with the friendly dogs in my temp. foster homes too! So if you have a friendly dog at home already, let’s meet! / I was very interested in the kitty in one of my temp. foster homes. I didn’t chased him, but I did try to sniff him. All cats are different, so I'm not sure how I would do with another kitty. / I enjoy the kids that are 6-15 years old in my temp. foster home, so if you have sweet kids these ages, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.      • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a friendly, sweet, happy, and loving girl who’s an absolute delight to be around! I’m very cuddly and am so happy when I’m being petted and loved on. I’m also fun, active, and curious, enjoying the chance to explore my surroundings and sniff everything I can. I was a little unsure of the bath sprayer, but I stayed calm and did very well, looking up with my adorable seal-pup eyes that are sure to melt your heart. I’m a wonderful companion who’s ready to share lots of love, cuddles, and happy moments with my forever family. / Energy level: Approx. 4-6.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘down’ commands so far and I’m sure you can teach me lots more. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s continue my training together. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts, and I slept well overnight in my crate in my temp. foster homes as well. / My potty manners were good on the shelter schedule, with only a few accidents, and they were also good in my temp. foster homes.      • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love cuddling, sharing sweet kisses, and getting head and bottom scratches from my people. Tasty treats are always appreciated, and I enjoy playing with my doggy friends too. I also love going on outings—I had a wonderful time visiting the Smith-Gilbert Gardens—and I ride very well in the car, so I’d be happy to tag along on your adventures. Running in a yard together is also fun! / I can be startled by sudden movements towards me or loud noises, so I appreciate it when people move slowly and gently around me. Things like quickly reaching for my leash or the sound of the garage door can make me nervous, but with patience and reassurance, I continue to gain confidence. And like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.  • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family that will treasure me! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.August 10, 2026, 5:06 pm

Story
My mother got Willow from a distributor that works with breeders it worked out well for a while but both of our work schedules have us working overnight hours she needs someone who has time to train her properly and can keep her on a better less random schedule she's great with other dogs so far and absolutely loves being around people we believe she has a few medical conditions which we've easily remedied ourselves the main one being her trouble with drinking water she tends to spit most of it back up it's unknown if it's behavioral (drinking too fast) or an actual issue but giving her ice has so far worked out just fine

Story
My wife and I have always owned dogs and cats for 31 years. Approximately 4 years ago my wife was diagnosed with Early Onset; Dementia/Alzheimer’s. I have decided to keep my wife home till the end. But keeping dog and cat has become to much for me to handle. Cat sort of takes care of her self. I’m also having too do this behind her back.! She loves Buddy but she dumped deal with him. He’s a good dog/ needs good home. Loves kids.
