Story
Meet Auggie Auggie is seeking a local, adult only home with a fenced yard and a similarly sized playmate! Auggie is an adorable 6.5 yr old, 15 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who was picked up a stray and never reclaimed. He was highly stressed in the shelter and we didn’t hesitate to pull him when his time was up. Auggie is a sweet silly boy, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. He loves toys! He enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. Auggie loves to play with other similar sized energetic dogs but is intimidated by bigger dogs. He is looking for a home with another small dog and will not be placed in a home with big dogs! . Older dogs may not appreciate his enthusiasm. He does okay with a dog savvy cat but for cats not used to dogs he would not be a good fit. Auggie is a resource guarder and because of this he will not be placed in a home with children. He has super sensitive hearing and will protect you from the UPS truck so apartment living is not in his future! Auggie is crate trained and housetrained. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, HW tested negative and on prevention. He does need to lose a couple pounds. Auggie has been in foster care for quite some time now and we really dont know why - we know the perfect home is out there somewhere! LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE

Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Lola Jean and Angus Daniel are a bonded 2-year-old pair who are looking for a home together, where they can continue to thrive side by side. Lola Jean is a female Bulldog mix with a fun, enthusiastic personality. She is food motivated and enjoys learning and engaging with people. She has moderate to high energy and can get very excited when heading somewhere she’s interested in, which can lead to some strong pulling on leash. In her kennel, she has been reliable and has not had accidents. Angus Daniel is a 2-year-old Scottish Terrier mix who tends to be more calm and easygoing. He walks very well on leash and has a relaxed presence overall. He is still working on consistency with potty habits and may occasionally have accidents in his kennel, but he is continuing to improve. Together, Lola Jean and Angus Daniel bring out the best in each other. They are both noticeably more settled, confident, and content when they are together, and their bond provides them with comfort and balance. They are looking for a home that can welcome them both and continue supporting their individual needs while celebrating the strong connection they share. Lola Jean currently weighs about 42lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 08/16/02023), and her adoption fee is $510. Lola Jean has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Lola Jean, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

***AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT*** If you’re looking for a puppy who is 100% personality and 0% shy, you have to meet Rowan. He is the kind of puppy who walks into a room and instantly decides that everyone there is his new best friend. He is a happy-go-lucky guy with a "zest for life" that is absolutely contagious. If there’s fun to be had, Rowan is right in the middle of it! He is incredibly friendly. He greets life with a wagging tail and a happy heart, making him the perfect companion for someone who loves a social dog. Whether it's meeting new people or making new four-legged friends, he’s always ready to say hello. Don't let that sweet face fool you—Rowan has a wonderful, spunky side! He’s got enough "pizzazz" to keep things interesting and he is always up for an adventure! At the end of the day, Rowan’s favorite title is "Cuddle King." He is a true lover who will wiggle his way right into your heart (and your personal space). Rowan would do wonderfully in a home that has plenty of love to give and a bit of energy to match his. He is a blank slate ready to learn, play, and grow with a family that wants a loyal, outgoing best friend by their side. Story
***AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT*** While some puppies are content to watch the world go by, Gardenia wants to jump over it, run through it, and then fall asleep right in the middle of your chest. She is a spirited, athletic girl with a personality that is as bright and beautiful as her namesake. Gardenia is built for fun. She’d be a natural at agility training or just being your favorite hiking partner. She has a wonderful "can-do" attitude. She’s confident, curious, and isn't afraid to let you know when she’s ready for playtime. Her spunky spirit keeps everyone smiling. Once the zoomies are out of her system, Gardenia transforms into a total lovebug. She craves human connection and will wiggle her way into your arms for some serious cuddle time. She’s looking for a family that will appreciate her spicy side but is also ready for all the kisses and snuggles she has to give. Since she’s still a puppy, she’s ready to learn everything from basic manners to fancy tricks! If this sounds like your perfect girl, apply today on the MACS Friends website!May 25, 2026, 10:22 pm

Story
***AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT*** If you’re looking for a companion with a little bit of mystery and a whole lot of personality, you need to meet Lilac. She is a beautiful soul who marches to the beat of her own drum. She isn’t the type to throw herself at every stranger she meets; instead, she prefers the "wait and see" approach. She’s an observer, a thinker, and—if we’re being honest—a bit of a tiny critic. Lilac’s favorite hobby is "people watching" with a side of judgment. She’ll sit back and watch the other dogs (or humans) with a look that suggests she’s silently grading your performance. It’s hilarious, endearing, and entirely her. Once you’ve passed her "vibe check," Lilac reveals a deeply affectionate side. She’s not loud about her love, but she’s incredibly loyal and thrives on quiet, meaningful connection. While she’s generally calm and reserved, Lilac has a secret "feisty" mode. When the mood strikes, she transforms into a playful, spunky puppy who will keep you on your toes. After a long day of watching the world go by, Lilac wants nothing more than to melt into your side. She is a top-tier cuddler who finds her greatest security in the arms of her favorite people. She’d love a family that appreciates a dog with a "refined" personality—someone who thinks her judgmental stares are as funny as we do! If that is you, apply today on the MACS Friends website!May 25, 2026, 10:22 pm
