Story
Meet Freya, a sweet girl with a heart as big as her adorable build! She's a crowd favorite thanks to her gentle, affectionate nature and loves nothing more than snuggling with her people, taking leisurely walks, and soaking up the sunshine. Freya gets along wonderfully with other dogs, loves people of all ages, and is mostly house-trained. Like any true foodie, she's very food motivated (mealtime is her favorite time of day!), so she'll happily work for treats. She is still learning to love car rides, and not announcing everything she sees when looking out the window.—but she's quick to settle and has been an easy guest in her foster home. After a big life change, Freya quickly blossomed once she realized she was safe and loved in her foster home. Now she's ready to find a forever family to call her own. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion to share your couch, your walks, and your heart, Freya may be the perfect match 🌟Please ask our adoption team about Freya's medical needs.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar.  They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. Bo and Gretchen need a home with an experienced pug parent where they can stay together. Both are very sweet and loving. Unfortunately, their mom is sick and can no longer care for them. They are located in SW Florida. Both babies are almost 2 years old. Bo does not care for men. Gretchen requires daily eye drops. Both are healthy other than daily eye drops for Gretchen.        Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Story
Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!! https://youtu.be/tGAgIihF7g4
