Barbacoa Benny has something magical between his sparkle eyes and sweet smile that gets people every time. Add his soft, golden coat and he manages to capture everyone who meets his attention. We’re guessing he may be a Chihuahua/pug mix, though his breed is our best guess. Whatever went into making this little face, it worked. He is wonderful meeting new people and happily welcomes their affection. There’s no elaborate introduction needed—some sweet talk and a gentle hand are a lovely place to start. Before long, he will happily show you where the belly rubs go. His favorite place is in your lap and snuggling under your chin. At home, Benny settles in beautifully. He's quiet, enjoys being near his people, and is perfectly happy to accept a treat and find a cozy place to enjoy it. Watching a little dog contentedly work on his snack is surprisingly good entertainment, especially when the little dog is this cute. Benny is polite with other dogs and could happily share his home with a furry companion. He appreciates friends who like to run, play and cuddle! . Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Welcome Johnny to CCPAL Rescue. Johnny is a 7-month-old Pug mixed pup. He is a beautiful tan color with a black muzzle. He has an underbite and a shortened nose. He is a bigger-sized boy pup in the liter. He weighs about 15 pounds now and will be a small dog full grown. He has an adorable underbite and is great with other dogs. He is active but not over the top. He has the curly tail like the traditional pug but maybe the curl is less tight. He is a laid-back boy and was easy to take photos with. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Johnny is one of two boys in the litter. He was the last puppy to come out of his kennel as he was enjoying his nap. He was very workable and stood still and sat willingly on the table for the photo shoot. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings.
