Story
Nim came to is as a breeder release. His mom has been adopted and he is now ready to find his forever home. Nim is super playful and would do best in a home with another dog to play with. We expect that he will stay on the small side so young children would not be the best situation for him. Nim is about 3 months old and his adoption fee is $500. ##1725829##

Riley is 7 year old puggle. He loves being center of attention, enjoys walks, tug of war, and enjoys snacks. He is a cuddler during the evening and is a great house protector. He is house trained and up to date on his shots. He has a cat sister and they get along and let each other do their own thing. He loves to play with his foster mates so having another energetic dog is important unless you have time for long walks and play time. Although he's full of energy he loves spending time sitting or laying next to his people.  Byte may be young, but he is very smart and learns quickly. He has full supervised run of the house and uses the dog door without issue. Byte is awesome!  May 30, 2023, 2:32 pm

Story
This precious pup is Brady, a Terrier/Dogo Argentina mix that was picked up as a stray by one of our officers and brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 4/25. Brady weighs 50 pounds, is approx 1 year old and is not yet neutered. As you can see from his pictures he has a skin condition. Upon arrival at the shelter he was given a skin scrape and it confirmed that he has Demodex. He has been started on Nexgard and is beginning to heal. I was informed that he looked worse when he arrived. This fellow has a chill personality and is calm and gentle, though is lively and active. Brady walks quite nicely on a leash. He loves treats and followed me around the yard wanting more! He stayed very close to me and I feel it was a combination of desiring to be near a human companion and wanting additional treats! This tail-wagging, sweet natured youngster is more than happy to receive petting and close contact. One day his skin will be free from the mange and he will have a soft silky white coat. It's sad that a pup this young has to deal with Demodex due to not having proper care. Please help Brady understand that there are people who care about him and want to give him a second chance at a happy and carefree future.
