Story
Hi! Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m Beignet. My friends call me Benny for short. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m a sweet and social butterfly who found myself in the wrong place at the wrong time the week of Christmas 2025. I got hit by a car and someone gave me a ride to the shelter. They found out I had a pelvic fracture which explains why it hurt so much to walk! They also said I had worms in my heart. They made me comfortable and said I would need a foster by Christmas Eve, whatever that meant. Luckily my foster pawrent saw a post about me and decided to bring me home for Christmas! I got a comfy crate, lots of food, and three foster siblings and settled in for the road to recovery. Since Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve been here Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve seen the vet and have been a very good patient. I fit in with my foster siblings seamlessly and greet new friends with a sweet submissive demeanor. I have not had one accident in the house. I havenâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t had walks on the leash yet but I love being pushed around in a stroller and taking in the fresh air! I love toys, but sometimes I pick up a shoe or a sock by accident! If you have some room for a little sweetness in your life, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d love to meet you. Truly, my only fault is that I'm not sure how I feel about those really small furry friends - pretty sure mom calls them cats. I've only been around one cat roommate so far, but I wasn't a huge fan. Preferable, looking for a cat free home! All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallaspetsalive.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/ . Story
Meet Ray and Claud, a lovable 7-year-old pug brother duo searching for their forever home together. Born to the same mom and dad, these best friends have spent every day side-by-side and are happiest when they can share life’s moments as a team. Claude is the cuddly charmer with soulful eyes and a talent for cozy couch snuggles. Ray is the curious explorer who enjoys backyard patrols, toy time, and keeping Claude company on every adventure. Together, they bring twice the tail wags, twice the greetings at the door, and twice the love. These gentle boys are experts at napping, snuggling, and making people smile with their sweet personalities and synchronized zoomies. They’re looking for a family willing to welcome them both — because their bond is truly special. If you’re ready for double cuddles, loyal companionship, and a home filled with warmth and pug charm, Ray and Claude are ready to love you forever. 🐾

Story
Five-year-old Tic Tac is a charming, fawn winky pug with a heart as big as his bark! While he can be a little cautious at first, once he warms up, this Velcro pug loves nothing more than cuddling up next to his favorite person and showering them with kisses. Tic Tac enjoys toys, puzzle games, and snuffle mats—and occasionally shows off his silly side by proudly parading around with socks or shoes he’s “borrowed.” He is about 90% house-trained, crate-trained (though he’s not a fan of it), and walks well on a leash—just be sure his harness is snug because he’s been known to wiggle out when something’s caught his interest! Tic Tac gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, but he’d prefer a home with a canine buddy and patient humans who understand he sees the world a little differently due to limited vision. If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly companion with a goofy streak, Tic Tac is your guy! ****** All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. To learn more or apply, visit www.dfwpugs.com.

Story
One-year-old Ottis is a lively, fawn boy with boundless energy and even bigger heart. Tall, lean, and always on the move, he’s a playful whirlwind who loves fetch, toys of every kind, and any creature willing to play—dogs, cats, humans… everyone is invited. In the evenings, Ottis flips the switch from athlete to cuddlebug and will happily shower you with kisses (he’s very generous with them!). Ottis is mostly house-trained and finds a consistent routine and belly bands helpful during training. He’s crate-trained and does great although he prefers sleeping in bed with his people. He walks well on leash, eats enthusiastically, and enjoys mealtime best when fed separately. Ottis can play a little rough due to his youthful enthusiasm, but he responds well to gentle reminders. Ottis would thrive in an active home with teens or older kids and a playful companion—or humans ready to keep up with his fun-loving spirit. If you’re looking for a sweet, high-energy adventurer who plays hard and loves harder, Ottis is ready to explore life with you! ****** All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption.
