Story
Hi! I’m Beignet, but my friends call me Benny. 🐾 I’m around 3 years old, about 25â€Â㦊 pounds, and basically the perfect mix of playful, sweet, and easygoing. I had a rough start after being hit by a car around Christmas 2025, but thanks to lots of care, rest, and love, I’ve made a full recovery and am back to doing all the normal dog things I love most. Running? Yep. Playing? Absolutely. Jumping around and having fun? You bet. These days, I’m living my best life and soaking up every adventure I can. I LOVE walks, enjoy playing with toys, and fit in seamlessly with other dogs. I’m a friendly, social guy who greets new people with a sweet and gentle demeanor, and my foster says I’ve been an easy houseguest with zero accidents in the home. I’m also a pretty silly little dude. Sometimes I get so excited I accidentally grab a sock or shoe while looking for a toy, but I promise I mean well. I just love being involved in whatever my people are doing. After everything I’ve been through, I’m more than ready for a forever family to call my own. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with just the right amount of goofy charm, I’d love to meet you. ❤ï¸Â One important note: I would do best in a cat-free home. I’ve met a cat before and decided they’re just not really my thing. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Meet Nim – The Cutest Pug on the Planet! Nim is a one-of-a-kind little boy who will absolutely melt your heart. He’s a tiny pug, weighing just 10 pounds, with the sweetest short little legs and a rare genetic anomaly that gave him long, fluffy fur—making him extra special and extra adorable. Quiet and calm by nature, Nim is the perfect snuggle buddy, but don’t let that fool you—he still gets bursts of playful energy where he scoots and hops around in pure joy when he sees you. He’s great with dogs of all sizes, cats, and absolutely adores children. Nim has been with us since he was just 8 weeks old, and now that he is 2, he’s still patiently waiting for his forever family. Sadly, many people searching for pugs want the typical loud snorts and snores—but Nim is different. He’s a soft-spoken, gentle soul, and truly the most precious pug you’ll ever meet. This little boy deserves a loving family who will celebrate his uniqueness… maybe even give him his very own Instagram page to show off his cuteness to the world! Story
7-year-old Legend is a sweet, easygoing fawn boy with a playful spark and a heart full of love. He adapts quickly to new people and places, enjoys playtime, and then happily settles in for cozy cuddles—especially on the couch or by your feet. Legend is house-trained, leash-trained, and a respectful eater with no food aggression. He’s free-roam trustworthy and sleeps soundly in bed with his humans. He enjoys plush toys (especially Lamb Chop!), puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and a good chew like a Nylabone. He does well with cats. He would do well in a home as either an only dog or with canine companions, and would thrive with someone who enjoys a relaxed, affectionate companion. He hasn’t met children yet but has a gentle, adaptable nature. He may need occasional eye lubricant, and sometimes bunny hop if his back legs feel weak while they regain strength. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key best friend—Legend lives up to his name. ****** All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption. Story
3-year-old Pierogi is a playful, affectionate tan-and-black pug mix with the cutest little “boots” on all four feet! This joyful guy is always ready for adventure, whether it’s meeting new dog friends, going for walks, riding in the car, or launching himself into your arms for cuddles. He loves gathering his toys into his favorite spot—wherever you are. Pierogi is doing great with house training—already about 90% house-trained and continuing to make great progress. He walks beautifully on leash, and sleeps well in his crate, though he’d much rather be curled up snuggling in bed with you. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and has learned to peacefully coexist with cats. Pierogi would thrive in a loving home that can continue his training and provide patience, reassurance, and plenty of companionship. Life’s better with a little Pierogi by your side—apply today for this stuffed-with-love sweetheart! ******* All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
Buddy was found and a good Samaritan is fostering him for us. He is about  two years old. He has such a wonderful, friendly personality. He's clearly been an indoor dog, as he's very comfortable and affectionate..  Regarding other dogs, he's actually fantastic with her five dogs. Buddy is amazing at reading other dogs, and gives the foster's older dog the space that she needs.  As for kids, the foster doesn't have any, however; given how gentle and loving he is with everyone he meets, we truly believe he'd be absolutely wonderful with children. He just seems to adore people! of all kinds and sizes!   Buddy, with a heart as big as his paws and a face that looks permanently unimpressed—but don’t be fooled. Beneath that sturdy, low-to-the-ground build is a total sweetheart. Buddy is a champion nap-taker, an expert snacker, and a loyal companion who takes his job as best friend very seriously. He loves slow walks where he can stop to inspect everything, belly rubs on demand, and being exactly where his people are at all times. Buddy may not move fast, but he lives life with purpose—especially when treats are involved. Equal parts tough-looking and tender-hearted, Buddy proves that true charm comes with a little drool and a lot of love He's already really good with kennel training, which is a huge bonus! He is kennel and potty trained as well.  Buddy is a big dog with a huge heart! He weighs 70 lbs. Hi, I’m Buddy Yes, that Buddy—the pit bull with the big blocky head, strong muscles, and the “don’t mess with me” look. Plot twist: I’m actually a total lovebug.I’m kennel trained, potty trained, and neutered, which means I know my manners and try my best to be a gentleman. I thrive on routine, appreciate a good nap, and like having my own cozy spot—but I’ll drop everything if it means hanging out with my people. My favorite things in life? Playing with my toys.  I love affection. Belly rubs, head scratches, full-body cuddles, and leaning into you like I’m trying to merge souls—I’m elite at it. I may look tough, but I’m pure goofiness and playful energy heart. If you sit down, don’t be surprised if I assume it’s cuddle time at least until I’m ready to play again I’m Buddy, and I take my role as your best friend very seriously. ##2634308##
