Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This girl had been adopted then returned as the owners could not keep up with a puppy. Bitsy is energetic, a bit shy at first and a good girl. She is housetrained, does well in a crate, good on a leash and in a car. She will need a few days to feel comfortable as she is confused as to why she is not home. She has done well with kids but will need adjustment with them also. She is curious about new places so can be a flight risk (would recommend an escape proof collar). She is ready for her forever home.

Story
Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. She was adopted as a puppy and has lived with another dog. Earlier in life she needed 2 acl surgeries (right and left leg), then more recently developed optic neuritis, which has caused her blindness. Blindness has caused Wren to be more reactive, aggressive and her owners have a new baby, so they feel like it is not safe to keep her.  We are looking for a foster home or adoptive home for Wren. They are recommending no other dogs or children. If you have experience with dog vulnerability, reactivity and are sympathetic to her cause, please let us know.
