Meet Otis – The Gentleman with the Biggest Heart  At 2 ½ years old and 27 pounds, Otis is the perfect little package of love. This Boston Terrier mix (with maybe a dash of Min Pin magic!) is as charming as they come. Sadly, Otis lost his beloved human, and his tender heart has been looking for someone new to love ever since.  Otis is the definition of a loyal friend—he adores people and is wonderful with other dogs. With his playful spirit and affectionate personality, he’ll happily bring joy to any home. The only thing he asks is a cat-free environment, since our feline friends aren’t his cup of tea. Healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative, Otis is ready to start fresh.   Mrs. Fluff is a delicate little one-year-old, Deerhead mix Chihuahua weighing just 8 pounds, and who is searching for a calm, nurturing home where patience and love come first. While she is undeniably beautiful on the outside, her heart is still healing from a difficult beginning. Mrs. Fluff came from a home that just could not take care of her. After one month in foster care, she has made truly remarkable progress and continues to blossom every day. In her foster home, Princess Fluff has learned that laps are safe, cuddles are wonderful, and gentle voices bring comfort. She seeks affection and enjoys being close to her people once she feels secure. Inside the home she is relaxed, playful in her own quiet way, and her sweet personality is beginning to shine through. She is still building confidence outdoors and leash walks in a fenced yard will prove to be a big confidence booster for her. Mrs. Fluff would thrive in a home where her people can continue this positive exposure at her pace. Car rides and neighborhood strolls are goals we know she will enjoy as she gains confidence. Mrs. Fluff would do best in a peaceful home with plenty of time and attention devoted to her. She may do well with one other calm, confident dog, but she truly wants to be someone’s special girl. Children in the home should be over the age of 10 and able to respect her gentle nature. She is crate trained and making steady progress with house training. Story
  Viola is a beautiful soul that we think is about 3 year old  and a Beagle mix girl. This black and white beauty with adorable speckled legs and a sweet She only weighs 20 lbs and has the sweetest smile and absolutely loves people. She was found as a stray that was taken to the shelter very scared and almost shutdown while there. Her human mother died and Viola is now 5 years old. Unfortunately we don’t really know her story, but we feel there is some trauma there in her past. It takes her a little bit to get used to people and even longer for dogs. She wants a safe place to observe (wire crate suggested)  till she figures it out. Her foster kept her behind a gate and her bed was her safe place. For a few days she would growl through the gate at the other dogs but after that it was over. We would leave the gate open and she would venture out and if she got nervous she would go back to her safe place. She is never ugly to the other dogs at her foster and  if one of the Chihuahuas was mean to her,  she just ignored her. We have her using puppy pads because there is  no fenced yard. Viola would definetly need a fenced yard so she can safely explore and have potty breaks. The outdoors makes her nervous still.
