Story
Our girl Sophie Claire is an older, faded Lemon-colored Beagle girl that seems to be 8-10 years of age.  This girl not only is showing the signs of age but, also the hardship of living as a hunting dog in the deep south.  This girl and her companion Beagles apparently lived with a heartless and indifferent owner and now Sophie Claire seems to have been the only one to escape alive from that desolate life.  She is tender, sweet, and is very focused on knowing her surroundings through her nose scent.  Sophie Grace is mellow and adores any attention and loving touch that you might give her.  She is only 22 pounds and a little thing that would sleep sweetly in your bedroom at night just so she could listen to the breathing of her humans nearby. We are looking for the “hound loving home” that will invite this girl to come live a life she never dreamed existed. You can see in her face that she has been defeated in so many ways, and yet we are seeing a renewed happiness to sleep in a nice dog bed and to join her foster mom on the sofa.  She is wonderful with other dogs and we would only assume that she is a friend to cats.  She meets people with her head downward and yet with a hope that you will give her some petting and attention. If you would like to give a sweet Beagle like Sophie Grace a forever home please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ASAP! PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 26, 2024, 2:09 pm

Story
My name is Elvis and I am a darling little Tennessee Treasure who wants to rock your world with the best Beagle fun ever.  I was found as a thin little guy, and they say that I am 12 weeks old.  I am looking for that perfect Beagle family that has a fenced yard and who adores my breed with all our funny quirks.  I am just starting out with my life and so far I am loving and friendly with everyone.  I am not housetrained yet, but working on it and I am learning what a wireccrate is all about.  I will probably be a 25-30 pound adult Beagle when fully grown.  I love kids, cats, other dogs and I love going places with my people. If you are interested in adopting me, please let Critter Cavalry Rescue know!   They are ready for me to find the perfect family that understands how cool Beagles are.  Please email them at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 26, 2024, 2:09 pm

Story
This sweetie is Daizy, and she is a 9-year-old, 22-pound Beagle mix. Daizy is current on all vaccines, chipped and spayed. Daizy has lived with other dogs and children. Once she gets to know the dogs in the home she will play with them, and as for children, she has been around young children but prefers to play with a little older kid. Daizy is a huge cuddle bug and wouldn’t mind spending as much time as possible on your lap. She does great on the leash, is crate trained, housebroken, and pretty much a great older gal! If you are interested in adopting Daizy, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. ** July 26, 2024, 10:50 am

Story
I’m Neville, an adorable 6-month-old beagle pup who’s had an unsettling whirlwind start in life – now I’m ready for stability in a forever home!I started out at a county animal shelter in North Carolina, where I was adopted out for $2. But other dogs in the home didn’t like me, and I was fortunate to be surrendered just days later to the Humane Society of York County.I’m friendly with other dogs and I walk well on a leash. I’m also a sweet guy who loves to have cuddles with my people.I’m expected to be a medium-size boy when I’m full grown.Like all puppies, I’ll need a home that’s ready to deal with puppy energy – that means plenty of patience and consistency from my new family while I grow and learn. If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Story
The vet and I believe Penny to be 4 years old. I got her from an elderly man who had her in a chain outside. I immediately had her spayed, heartworm tested(negative) and all of her shots. I have had her for 4 months and she is INCREDIBLY shy and unsure of indoor life. We have 5 other various breeds of dogs and she's good with all of them except she's so timid and standoffish. We have totally loved on her and she loves right back but she still feels lonely. My nephew lived with us and he had a little dauchaund who she absolutely loved and could play like a real puppy but he moved and she has lived the last month so very insecure that I feel heartbroken for her. No food aggression with other dogs, she totally ignores out cat, she is 90% housebroken but will pee on a towel or puppy pad if you have to leave her in too long. She's quiet, not a huge barker, only when the other dogs bank. And she LOVES people. She will be perfect in the perfect home

Story
Lacey is a sweet, female, beagle mix weighing in at 48 lbs.  She was surrendered by the owner when we found out she was heartworm positive.  She is 5 years old and up to date on shots/vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.  We have started her on medication to prepare her for her heartworm injections in about 30 days.  PINC pays for these treatments.  We are looking for an adopter that has experience with heartworm treatments. Lacey is sweet, laid back, loves to be with her person, and loves other dogs.  We follow the American Heartworm Society's heartworm treatment plan and heartworm treatments are administered at Spay Neuter Clinic of the Carolinas.  We will require a fenced-in backyard for Lacey.  www.pincdogrescue.org/adopt is where you can submit an adoption application and see our adoption process. ##1101372##
