Story
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA:  Hi, I’m Oscar, a friendly young Ragdoll-mix male!  I enjoy human attention and like everyone I meet.  I love to sleep on my foster mom’s bed at night.  She describes me as “a playful, floppy sort of fellow, outgoing and goofy!” My pal Sterling and I are a bonded pair, and we need to be adopted together.  We've never been around dogs or children, but we get along great with other cats. I was born in approximately February 2024, have been fixed and am up to date on my shots. Please note: Oscar has chronically runny eyes as well as cherry eye, but these conditions do not seem to bother Oscar and his veterinarian has ruled out any infection. This is a Courtesy Post, and Oscar is in a private foster home in Pleasant Hill, California.  For more information, please contact Suzanne at suzannejo16@gmail.com. Please Note: This cat has not yet been tested for FIV/FeLV, to our knowledge. Potential adopters should confirm the cat’s status with the rescuer and should consult with their veterinarian for recommendations regarding testing.March 15, 2026, 5:56 pm

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi, I’m Maggie I’m a 7-year-old purebred Ragdoll looking for a calm, loving home where I can be your one and only feline princess. I absolutely love pets and attention — the second you start petting me, I turn into a purring machine. I’m sweet, gentle, and happiest hanging out near my people. I’m not really a cuddly lap cat, but I do enjoy companionship and being admired from a comfy nearby spot. I would prefer to be the only cat in the home so I can soak up all the love and attention for myself. A quiet home where I can relax, be spoiled, and enjoy life at my own pace would be perfect for me. If you’re looking for a beautiful, affectionate companion with a soft coat and an even softer heart, I might just be your girl. For more information email cmgee29@yahoo.com   For further information, please email the foster, or contacthalo@yahoo.com. To see more of our cats, please visit http://www.eccchalo.org June 22, 2026, 9:20 pm

Story
Bandit is a 3year old Siamese/Ragdoll little girl. Her 3 years have been full of different adventures. Bandit (formarly Rosy) was found with her brother in San Carlos. They were taken to Nine Lives to be spayed and neutered and were adopted but something happened. Bandit ended up on her own in a back yard. She wanted to come into a home but the resident cat was having none of that. So Bandit came to CIW. She is a great little girl who is current with her vaccinations. She also has a microchip. She is shy initially but comes around fairly quickly. She loves to watch the birds but doesn't want to hurt them. She seems to like ladies more than men but with patience accepts strokes from both. She is a great little companion for any home. Is your home the home for Bandit?? Please note: Indoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1782226838&src=aap]

Story
Gizmo (GG) is a five-year-old cat with a sweet and sensitive soul. While she was adopted without noted health concerns, I have observed that she may have a disability, such as partial blindness, which makes her fearful of sudden movements, loud noises, and new environments. Despite her anxiety, GG is incredibly gentle. Once she feels safe, she enjoys bird watching, exploring the house, and cuddling at the foot of the bed. She is even comfortable being bathed and dried, which demonstrates her deep capacity for trust. Currently, she prefers to stay in the bedroom during the day, typically only venturing out at night when the house is quiet. She is litter box trained, and I currently keep her box in my room to accommodate her comfort level. I believe GG would thrive in a quiet, low-stimulation home with a single owner or someone who works from home. She would likely do best in an environment without other pets or young children, where she can receive the patience and calm energy she needs
