Story
🐶 Coming Soon to a Couch Near You… Jepp: The Lone Ranger of Sassville Rated R for Ruff Behavior In a world full of pack dogs and polite tail wags… One dog dares to walk alone. He pulls. He pouts. He refuses to share his toys. Meet Jepp — a misunderstood genius with a leash and a dream. He’s not here to make friends. He’s here to make statements. He doesn’t play well with others. He doesn’t do cuddles. But he does do drama, suspicious glances at strangers, high-speed leash chases, and emotional breakthroughs over peanut butter. Jepp isn’t just a dog. He’s a one-dog revolution against boring walks, clingy puppies, and small talk. He’s not anti-social, he’s just anti-dog. Other pups cramp his style. He’s got the soul of a misunderstood poet, the swagger of a retired rockstar, and the leash manners of a caffeinated toddler… He’s got the attitude of a cat… And the emotional availability of a houseplant. These days, every dog wants belly rubs… Jepp dares to say, “No thanks, I’m good.” Get ready for the dog who doesn’t fetch. Doesn’t sit. And definitely doesn’t do playdates. One leash. Zero chill. All attitude. Jepp doesn’t do group projects; he is The Project. He’s a one-man wolf pack with a strong preference for being the only four-legged legend in every room. He’s still learning that humans aren’t just treat dispensers with legs. Give him time, snacks, and space — he’ll come around. Think of Jepp as a fixer-upper with a heart of gold buried under layers of “don’t touch me, until you know me.” Jepp thrives with older kids who understand sarcasm and don’t mind a little emotional mystery. Jepp believes walking is a competitive sport. He’s training for the Olympics — you just didn’t know you were his coach. He needs someone who can handle the legend… JEPP. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear harnesses and pull like a freight train. If Jepp were a movie: It would not be on Lifetime, because Jepp does not do basic or basic cable. Save your pumpkin spice lattes for another, little dog. Jepp is a no cream & sugar in your black label dark roast by the gallon guy. If basic cable critics would dare to review Jepp: “Jepp delivers a performance so raw, it chews through the scenery — and your slippers.” — Barking Weekly “A tour de force of canine independence. Jepp doesn’t fetch — he commands.” — The Tail Times “If Clint Eastwood were a dog, he’d be Jepp.” — Paws & Popcorn Now accepting applications for foster or adopter co-stars. Must be teen-approved, emotionally resilient, and okay with being upstaged by a dog. Jepp’s looking for a temporary throne while he waits for his forever kingdom. If you have patience, dark humor, and a love for quirky underdogs (he is pretty short), Jepp might just be your next great adventure. My adoption fee is $350.00 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market -One free private lesson in home or in shelter from Bryana.

Story
Meet Josephine (Jo-Zee)! This 3-year-old, pint-sized dynamo is a lemon-and-white female Rat Terrier with a heart as big as her zoomies! Jo-Zee is the perfect blend of sweetness and spunk. True to her breed, she’s bursting with energy and will need a home that can keep up with her lively spirit—preferably one with a doggie friend or an active human who loves long walks and outdoor adventures. A secure yard is a must for this tiny explorer! Jo-Zee’s puppy curiosity means everything goes in her mouth—she’s still figuring out the difference between chew toys and paper or plastic (thankfully, shoes and socks are still safe… for now!). She zips through life at full speed, often turning your living room into her personal racetrack. But when the day winds down, Jo-Zee transforms into the ultimate cuddle bug, curling up in the crook of your arm or snoozing happily on your shoulder. Jo-Zee is the canine version of a toddler—she’ll keep you on your toes all day, and just when you think she’s worn you out, she’ll melt your heart with her affectionate snuggles. Jo-Zee is ready to be your new best friend if you’re ready for unconditional love and non-stop laughter! Jo-Zee is pretty bonded with her friend Pippa, but she can be adopted on her own. If you'd like to take a peek at Pippa, please search for her under Valley Dogs Rescue. Please email ADOPT@VALLEYDOGS.ORG to meet sweet Jo-Zee.

MEET MOCHI!!! Mochi is bonded to Suede, and must be adopted with her, see Suede's profile here: https://www.underdogaz.com/animals/#action_0=pet&animalID_0=21202316&petIndex_0=131 The 2nd picture is of them cuddling together! Mochi is a sweet and affectionate companion who is ready to fill your home with love and warmth! She thrives on being close to her humans, whether it's snuggling on the couch or lounging peacefully in her dog bed. Her gentle and calm nature makes her the perfect cuddle buddy for quiet moments, and she truly enjoys a relaxed environment. Mochi's playful side shines through when she has her small, fluffy toys, though she's not one for fast-paced games like fetch or chase. Instead, she enjoys taking her time with her toys at her own leisurely pace. As a low-energy dog, she's content with a good walk, followed by a long nap to recharge. On walks, she is a dream, walking at a steady pace without pulling, making her a fantastic leash walker.  When it comes to other pets, Mochi is adaptable and respectful. She's great with people and would thrive in a calm, loving home, especially with other non-dominant animals. While she isn't the type to instigate anything, she's confident in setting boundaries when necessary, especially if another dog gets too domineering. Mochi has been around both cats and chickens with no issues, so she's comfortable with various types of animals in the home. Whether she's the only pet or part of a multi-pet household, she will fit in effortlessly. Mochi is very home oriented, and has no tendency to bolt out of the door and is well-behaved off-leash. Though she's not an excessive barker, she'll alert you to the arrival of a guest or a delivery, always keeping an eye on her surroundings. She can be a little overzealous when it comes to treats! Currently, she has made great progress in her weight loss journey, shedding 9 pounds! She'd love a family who can continue supporting her in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, with regular walks and a balanced diet. Mochi is ready to become your loyal, loving companion. Story
Trixie is a gentle senior girl who has been through far more than any dog ever should. She first came to Follow Your Heart earlier this year as a “last litter” mama, and when her owners recently decided to surrender her, we didn’t hesitate for a second to bring her back into our loving arms. After a decade of surviving on the streets, raising litter after litter, and never truly knowing comfort, Trixie is finally getting her chance at the soft, peaceful life she has always deserved.✨ Why Trixie is a Gem:• Housebroken and wonderfully polite• Great on a leash — she loves slow, gentle strolls• Non-destructive and can be trusted alone• Kennel trained and enjoys having her own cozy spot• Calm, quiet, and incredibly easy to have in the homeTrixie is still learning that she’s safe now. She needs a patient, loving home that will give her time to decompress and discover all the little joys of indoor life — warm beds, predictable routines, and the freedom to finally relax without being on constant alert. With kindness, consistency, and a soft place to land, this beautiful soul will blossom. Whoever opens their heart to Trixie will be giving a senior dog the greatest gift of all: a peaceful, love-filled life she has waited far too long for. 💛If you think Trixie might be your forever girl, we’d love to introduce you.Meet Trixie — a gentle senior finally getting the soft life she’s always deserved. After years on the streets and raising countless litters, Trixie was surrendered back to us, and we welcomed her with open arms. She’s now learning what comfort and safety truly feel like.✨ Why she’s wonderful:• Housebroken and polite• Great on a leash• Non-destructive and trustworthy• Kennel trained• Calm, quiet, and easygoingTrixie just needs a patient, loving home to help her decompress and enjoy the peaceful life she’s waited so long for. Whoever adopts her will be giving a truly deserving soul her happily-ever-after. 💛
