Story
Available for Adoption: Meet Tatiana!  Tatiana is a friendly, loving, kind, and gentle girl who’s ready to find her forever home. She was rescued alongside her three puppies and proved to be an incredible, devoted mom. Now it’s her turn to be cared for and cherished. Tatiana truly lights up every room she walks into. With her calm, gentle presence, she makes a point to greet everyone and quickly wins hearts wherever she goes. She’s easygoing, quiet, well-mannered, and obedient—an all-around wonderful companion who respects her home, toys, and bedding. She gets along beautifully with kids, cats, and other dogs, and is crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained. Whether it’s relaxing at home or being part of family life, Tatiana fits right in. Tatiana is currently being treated for Ehrlichia (tick fever, not contagious to humans or other animals). Treatment is 28-day course of Doxycycline that will be completed on 5/28. GTDR will provide and pay for the medication so she can comfortably finish treatment in her forever home. She has shown no symptoms and is doing great! If you’re looking for a gentle, loving dog with a beautiful spirit, Tatiana is ready to meet you. She has had 2 vet visits, is spayed, Microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations (puppies 4 DHPP, adults 2 DHPP), had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and a 1 fecal tests. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. Story
Available for Adoption: Meet Miska! Miska is a sweet, joyful little girl with an absolutely adorable personality. She was found as a stray and was understandably fearful at first, but it doesn’t take long for her to blossom into the loving, gentle soul she truly is. With patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement, she’s made incredible progress and continues to shine brighter every day.  She takes at least 3 days to open up and requires that time to acclimate and trust and she is so worth it. Miska smiles with a silly grin showing her beautiful white teeth, making her even more adorable as if that was possible. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body—she is kind, gentle, and incredibly well-mannered. She’s not a barker and settles into a home as if she’s always belonged there. She especially thrives with other dogs around, as they help her feel more confident and bring out her playful, happy side. She will require a home with a yard and preferably another dog and doggy door so she can go out on her own.  About Miska: Crate trained & potty trained, Great with kids, cats, and all dogs, Obedient and well-behaved, Quiet and calm (not a barker!), Sweet, gentle, and affectionate. Miska is truly one of a kind—the perfect addition to a loving home ready to give her the life she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion, Miska is your match.  She has had 2 vet visits, is spayed, Microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and a 2 fecal tests. Story
Ursa is a 14-month-old puppy. She was adopted by my brother on 4/20/25. She has a sweet personality and loves to run and play. Unfortunately, my brother passed away from Cancer 10 days ago. As a result, we have been fostering Ursa until we find a good home for her. We have another rescue dog who is 7 years old. She does not do well with other dogs which is why we are unable to keep Ursa long term. Our primary concern is to ensure Ursa goes to a good home where she will be loved and cared for. That is why we are not charging an adoption fee. She is also an inside dog not one who stays outside 24/7.

Story
🐶 Coming Soon to a Couch Near You… Jepp: The Lone Ranger of Sassville Rated R for Ruff Behavior In a world full of pack dogs and polite tail wags… One dog dares to walk alone. He pulls. He pouts. He refuses to share his toys. Meet Jepp — a misunderstood genius with a leash and a dream. He’s not here to make friends. He’s here to make statements. He doesn’t play well with others. He doesn’t do cuddles. But he does do drama, suspicious glances at strangers, high-speed leash chases, and emotional breakthroughs over peanut butter. Jepp isn’t just a dog. He’s a one-dog revolution against boring walks, clingy puppies, and small talk. He’s not anti-social, he’s just anti-dog. Other pups cramp his style. He’s got the soul of a misunderstood poet, the swagger of a retired rockstar, and the leash manners of a caffeinated toddler… He’s got the attitude of a cat… And the emotional availability of a houseplant. These days, every dog wants belly rubs… Jepp dares to say, “No thanks, I’m good.” Get ready for the dog who doesn’t fetch. Doesn’t sit. And definitely doesn’t do playdates. One leash. Zero chill. All attitude. Jepp doesn’t do group projects; he is The Project. He’s a one-man wolf pack with a strong preference for being the only four-legged legend in every room. He’s still learning that humans aren’t just treat dispensers with legs. Give him time, snacks, and space — he’ll come around. Think of Jepp as a fixer-upper with a heart of gold buried under layers of “don’t touch me, until you know me.” Jepp thrives with older kids who understand sarcasm and don’t mind a little emotional mystery. Jepp believes walking is a competitive sport. He’s training for the Olympics — you just didn’t know you were his coach. He needs someone who can handle the legend… JEPP. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear harnesses and pull like a freight train. If Jepp were a movie: It would not be on Lifetime, because Jepp does not do basic or basic cable. Save your pumpkin spice lattes for another, little dog. Jepp is a no cream & sugar in your black label dark roast by the gallon guy. If basic cable critics would dare to review Jepp: “Jepp delivers a performance so raw, it chews through the scenery — and your slippers.” — Barking Weekly “A tour de force of canine independence. Jepp doesn’t fetch — he commands.” — The Tail Times “If Clint Eastwood were a dog, he’d be Jepp.” — Paws & Popcorn Now accepting applications for foster or adopter co-stars. Must be teen-approved, emotionally resilient, and okay with being upstaged by a dog. Jepp’s looking for a temporary throne while he waits for his forever kingdom. If you have patience, dark humor, and a love for quirky underdogs (he is pretty short), Jepp might just be your next great adventure. Adoption Requirements: Behavior Consult, No other dog(s) My adoption fee is $350.00 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market -One free private lesson in home or in shelter from Bryana.

Story
Meet Papi, a sweet little gentleman with a big heart and excellent manners at 11 years young and 20 lbs, this Rat Terrier mix is the definition of easy living. Papi loves people just the right amount—happy to hang out, happy to snooze nearby, and especially happy to cuddle when it’s bedtime. He’s a champion sleeper who will gladly match your sleep-in schedule. Papi is generally a laid-back guy, but don’t let that fool you—walks and car rides are his JAM. He gets adorably excited when it’s time to head out, then settles into a nice, relaxed stroll (even easier when he’s walking solo). At home, he’s a total potty-training rockstar, uses the doggie door like a pro, and allows all handling with zero fuss. He’s lived peacefully with other dogs and mostly ignores them on walks, though cats are a no-thank-you for Papi. Toys are still a mystery to him, but he’s curious about crinkly ones and might discover his playful side with a little encouragement. Papi would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can enjoy daily walks, cozy cuddles, and all the love he so clearly deserves. Looking for a mellow best friend with a sweet soul and a cute little strut? Papi’s ready to meet you.
