Meet Jeremy & Trixie: A Bonded Pair Seeking Their Forever Home! Are you ready to double the love and joy in your life? Look no further than Jeremy and Trixie, an inseparable bonded pair who are indeed two peas in a pod. These furry best friends hope to find their forever home together, where they can continue sharing their heartwarming friendship and brighten your days.Jeremy:Jeremy might be the quieter half of this dynamic duo, but his gentle and shy nature only adds to his charm. His past remains a mystery, as he's unable to share his story, but his expressive eyes tell a tale of resilience and hope. Sadly, her adopter recently passed away, leading her back to HARTT, where she found a new companion in Jeremy. Despite her past challenges, Trixie brings a calm and soothing presence to any environment.Together:Jeremy and Trixie's relationship is a perfect example of opposites attracting. Jeremy thrives in a tranquil environment, making him an excellent fit for a household with no children and a preference for a calm and soothing atmosphere. Trixie's presence helps alleviate her anxiety, making these two essential to stay side by side.Help Jeremy Blossom:While Terriers are known for their outgoing and playful nature, Jeremy is still learning to navigate the world around him. A patient and positive-reinforcement-based approach will help him overcome his shyness and learn to embrace new experiences.Don't miss the chance to welcome this heartwarming duo into your home and hearts. Story
Lucy Lu enjoyed much love in her previous home. Maybe a bit too much was in the form of food, for this sweet 10- to 11-year-old rat terrier arrived at her New Rattitude foster home very much over her ideal weight of about 15 lbs. Lucy is too embarrassed to tell us what the scales currently say, but she's proud that she has already shed 1.6 lbs. with copious walks and playtime with her canine foster brother, as well as feedings carefully measured by her foster mom. Lucy needs her adopter to commit to helping her complete her journey to good health.   Before coming to NR, Lucy lived with one person and a cat, so she's shy around new people, barking at them and then avoiding them. If left alone, she'll approach when she's ready; people ignoring this advice will likely be growled at. Lucy still gets along with cats and has learned a lot about living with other dogs. She enjoys playing with them and with toys. You should see her fine game of tug-of-war! She occasionally gets growly and tries to lay claim to certain toys or space, but her foster mom has taught her about sharing by permitting access to these cherished resources only when her behavior is appropriate. Lucy would be fine as an only dog or as a member of a small group of easy-going canine friends.   Lucy is reliably house-trained as long as you take her out or provide access to a dog door. She's also crate trained and will sleep in her crate at night and for naps. However, she would LOVE to sleep in your bed. She's such an affectionate pup and an easy keeper, how could you possibly say no? You can see more photos of Lucy at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/lucylu . Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. NewRattitude.org/adopt/  From there, you can access our adoption application or contact our Adoption Team for more info. May 8, 2024, 9:11 pm

Story
Recently, my elderly mother, unexpectedly passed away leaving two loyal companions in need of a new, loving environment. Bacon, has been a cherished member of her family for many years, providing unconditional love and companionship. Given the sudden circumstances, we are seeking compassionate individuals or families who would be willing to open their hearts and homes to Bacon. She is house-trained and accustomed to the company of humans and other dogs and is a sweet lap dog. It is our utmost priority to ensure a seamless transition for these dogs and to find them a safe haven where they can continue to thrive. Your support during this challenging time is deeply appreciated. Thank you for considering the welfare of these dogs and for any assistance you can provide.

Story
**This is a courtesy listing for Frosted Faces Vintage Paws Rescue**  Jack is a fun-loving young guy with lots of energy and sass. He is an approximately six-year-old Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua (best guess!) mix. Jack is friendly and outgoing and would love to meet you. He has an energetic and fun personality. Jack loves toys and treats and gets along with other dogs, both big and small. His favorite game is fetch, and he also enjoys showing off his "sit" command for a treat. Jack would love to learn more tricks and training with his forever family! Jack is leash-trained and would love to go on a walk with you; he's a great little walker and has lots of stamina. Jack has been in rescue with Frosted Faces for quite a few years and we really want to find him his perfect forever fit. He would do best in a patient home that will provide him lots of activity and love. No kids, please! Would you like to meet Jack? He would love to meet YOU! Story
Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogIf you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react.  Hi! My name is Bear, and I am a sweet, senior Jack Russell Terrier who is 10 years old, and I weigh 13 pounds. I have lived in confinement my whole life, and I can be shy at first, so I need a quiet home where I can live out my life enjoying all the things I have missed. A home visit is required with all members of the family. If you have been waiting for a sweet JRT, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org.
