Story
MILLIE is a lovely adult/senior, 8 pounds, girl Rat Terrier whose senior human dad passed away, leaving Millie and her four little companions, Cookie, Shorty, Poopsy, and Missy, without their dad. They all get along really well, are house trained, and also know to use pads to do their business indoors, and at night, and when it's raining or very cold out. They are not barkers, only barking to warn that someone is at or near the front door, and then they settle down again. They are great with cats because their housemates have been six (6) cats! If shown a lot of affection and understanding when welcomed into their new homes, we are sure these lovely kiddos will do well in a loving new home even if they don’t stay together. IMPORTANT NOTE: Recently the number of deaths from hungry coyote attacks has greatly increased. Coyotes can climb 10 foot fences with a small to medium sized dog in their jaws. This happens in broad daylight in the middle of the day, and on trails while hiking with your dog on a leash, it is truly unbelievable, and we have frightening first-hand accounts. We are listing these lovely pups to help their current foster/rescue in finding them wonderful new homes. All four girl pups are spayed, Shorty is neutered, and all of them current on vaccines. Lea is an easy maintenance girl who could benefit with some basic training. She is a quiet girl who needs time to open up to know she’s okay. Lea is a sweet girl once she opens up. She would benefit in a calm home without kids. Lea is good with other dogs & can be cat tested upon request. I got Maka from a rescue 11 years ago as a tiny puppy who fit in my hand as a support animal for my daughter (who is now out of college and working) along with his brother, P'Nut. They are well-behaved, used to being bathed, clipped, walked, and spoiled by me. He is good in the car and at the kennel. He does not like fireworks. He eats whatever I feed him once a day but is also quite treat motivated. In a perfect world, someone wonderful would be able to take both Maka and his brother P'Nut. All shots and vaccinations are up to date and just took him to the vet for an excellent health report.
