Story
MILLIE is a lovely adult/senior, 8 pounds, girl Rat Terrier whose senior human dad passed away, leaving Millie and her four little companions, Cookie, Shorty, Poopsy, and Missy, without their dad. They all get along really well, are house trained, and also know to use pads to do their business indoors, and at night, and when it's raining or very cold out. They are not barkers, only barking to warn that someone is at or near the front door, and then they settle down again. They are great with cats because their housemates have been six (6) cats! If shown a lot of affection and understanding when welcomed into their new homes, we are sure these lovely kiddos will do well in a loving new home even if they don’t stay together. IMPORTANT NOTE: Recently the number of deaths from hungry coyote attacks has greatly increased. Coyotes can climb 10 foot fences with a small to medium sized dog in their jaws. This happens in broad daylight in the middle of the day, and on trails while hiking with your dog on a leash, it is truly unbelievable, and we have frightening first-hand accounts. We are listing these lovely pups to help their current foster/rescue in finding them wonderful new homes. All four girl pups are spayed, Shorty is neutered, and all of them current on vaccines. To learn more about Millie (Cookie, Shorty, Poopsy, and Missy), please contact us at: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (also our PayPal email for donations and sponsorships).

Story
Marilyn, a 4-6-year-old, 13-pound female rat terrier/chi mix, is a cuddle monster. She has adjusted well to city life after leaving San Diego. She flew to NYC back in February to help make space in the shelters for the LA dogs displaced by the fires. She has the most beautiful light brown eyes that will remain trained on her chosen human. She is loyal loving girl who loves any and all treats. She has learned to “sit” as long as there are treats involved. When home with her human, she must be touching you. She may bark once or twice when her human leaves the house but settles down very quickly and is fine until they return. She would do well in a home with another adult dog, as she suffers from solo dog separation anxiety. While she prefers being with her humans, the presence of another dog seems to soothe her. You must pay the belly rub tax when you leash her up and clean her paws. She does great on a leash and appears to be house trained.  Marilyn has a large bald patch on her back and tail. Her fur has begun to slowly grow back but  her forever family will want to keep an eye on this and make sure that her skin continues to improve. She is received a dental and had  a couple teeth extracted.  It appears she has had many babies in the past…and does not enjoy the energy of puppies. Who can blame her! She seems intrigued by the sounds of cats on TV but that remains untested. Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, lepto, and bordetella. Spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. To apply for Marilyn, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available. Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable dog, or final size of any of our adoptable puppies. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the dog into our rescue. Adoptions: adopt@waggytailrescue.org ##2286388##

Story
Meet Imp! He is lovely girl rescued by our team from High-kill shelter in Korea. She gave birth to his babies in the shelter. Behaviours from the previous foster: She is so gentle that she doesn’t bark at all and doensn’t have any aggressive behaviours. She loves walking and meeting her friends and She loves her hooman so much. She likes to be pat - especially on her butt – and always sleeps besides her hooman. She is doing her job out doors- moving her bowels. She is not a big fan of showering but she seems to bear it- She is so patient. We haven’t found any separation anxieties so far, She seems to be beyond happy when the owners come back home though. She is a little bit timid that she is afraid of some scary noise like vacuum cleaner, plastic bottle and so on. She has so much love in her. Be her loving family and she will be with you and adores you forever. Allergy/health issues: She has motion sickness. So It will help her if you let her doing her job_moving her bowels_ and keep her stomach empty before gettinng a car. *Please send all inquiries to @everlove8282. *Please submit your applications through the application form on our Instagram profile! Our team will carefully consider each of your applications to find the perfect forever homes for our dogs. *As all of our dogs are currently in South Korea, there will be an adoption fee of 700USD + customs fee (if applicable) for each dog. —> all details are on the poster!
