Story
Branley may be a senior, but don’t tell him that—he’s too busy enjoying life his way. At 12 years young, this charming Rat Terrier has perfected the art of the good life. His favorite place? A cozy dog bed where he can curl up just right… preferably in a patch of warm sunshine. Give him a sunny spot, and you’ll see pure, contented bliss. Branley is also a wonderful walking companion. He loves getting out to explore, taking in the world at his own easygoing pace. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a quiet moment outside, he’s happiest by your side. His hearing might not be what it once was, but a gentle, louder call is all it takes to get his attention—and when he looks your way, it’s with those sweet, knowing eyes that only a senior dog can have. And for his age? His bladder control is impressive, making him an easy addition to a calm, loving home. Branley is the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a soft place to rest, a bit of sunshine, and a person to share his days with. In return, he’ll give you quiet companionship, loyalty, and the kind of love that only comes with time. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to keep you company and remind you to slow down and savor the little things, Branley is ready to be your perfect match. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $250 and you can adopt me at www.polkadogz.org.  ##2715473##

Story
Bebe and Tabby are a bonded pair of 7-year-old female Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mixes. Bebe weighs approximately 15 pounds. She is a friendly, happy, affectionate girl who is always wagging her tail as soon as she sees you. Tabby also weighs 15 pounds. She is timid when she first meets new people, but quickly warms up. They are currently in a foster home, please fill out an adoption application, and we will arrange meet and greet. https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-application.html https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p154/Bebe_%26_Tabby.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Stretch! Stretch, Spot, and Little Man came to PRBJ from an overcrowded shelter after being rescued from a hoarding situation where the home had over 50 dogs. These dogs are all nervous and have no manners, not talking about sit, stay, paw I am talking about they are used to climbing on tables or counters if they can find a way up.  But they are SWEET and just need to each find a patient owner who can help them and maybe another dog in the house to show them what a dog is supposed to be like :) Important Information for New Puppy Parents  Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog, dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential.  We strongly recommend that the entire family participates in puppy training classes. This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the same commands and techniques, creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.  **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families! Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 7, 2026, 11:37 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ❤️ MEET WALKER! 9 POUNDS OF PURE FUN! ❤️ If you're looking for a playful, happy-go-lucky little buddy to join your pack, Walker is your guy! At just 1 year old and approximately 9 pounds, this Rat Terrier mix is full of energy, personality, and a whole lot of fun! A little about Walker: Walker is SUPER dog-friendly and absolutely thrives with other dogs. He needs a canine sibling in his forever home to run, wrestle, and play with. Having a doggy friend isn't just a bonus for Walker—it's a must! Dog Friendly: He loves other dogs! He's especially comfortable with small dogs and can do great with big dogs, too, although he may need a little time to warm up to the larger ones. Play Over Snuggles: Walker is more of a PLAY than cuddle kind of guy. He'd much rather be wrestling with his foster siblings, running zoomies, and getting into all sorts of fun than sitting in someone's lap. Crazy in the BEST Way: This little guy is a happy, energetic, silly bundle of fun! He's got a big personality and is always ready for his next adventure. What About Cats? Walker is mostly friendly with cats, but they definitely make him nervous. He's more terrified of them than anything! Good House Skills: Walker is crate trained and mostly potty trained. He's also learning to walk politely on a leash and making great progress! Walker is one of 14 terrier mixes Hunter's Village Rescue welcomed after rescuing 85 dogs from a heartbreaking hoarding situation in Lake County. Thirteen of these little terriers are still waiting for their forever homes! This sweet boy deserves a home where he can run, play, wrestle, and enjoy life with a four-legged best friend by his side. If you've already got a playful pup looking for a partner in crime, Walker might be the perfect addition to your family!❤️ Adoption Donation: $250 His adoption includes: - Vaccines - Microchip - Neuter Ready to make Walker part of your pack? Submit an adoption application here: https://bit.ly/3GDeyyo Please help us find this little firecracker the forever home he's been waiting for! ❤️ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2026, 6:16 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Clementine 10 Pounds of Sweetness Looking for Her Safe Place! At just 2 years old and a whopping 10 pounds, Clementine may be tiny, but she has a BIG story to tell. Clementine is one of 14 terrier mixes Hunter's Village Rescue welcomed from a heartbreaking hoarding case involving 85 dogs in Lake County. While we don't know everything about her past, we do know that this sweet little Rat Terrier is learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cherished.  And if there's one thing Clementine has figured out already, it's that a warm lap is pretty much the greatest place on Earth!  Here's what we're learning about our little Cutie Clementine: Professional Lap Warmer: Clementine absolutely LOVES snuggling with her humans. Give her a cozy lap and some love, and she's one happy little girl! House Manners Superstar: In her first five days in foster care, she's only had TWO accidents! Pretty impressive for a little girl adjusting to an entirely new world! Doggy Relationships: Clementine is still figuring out life with other dogs. She's making progress with her foster sister, but she can be protective of her crate, especially when food is involved. Interestingly, she's perfectly happy enjoying treats alongside her foster sister outside of her crate! She may do best with a patient, respectful canine companion or as someone's one-and-only princess. Walks? Hard Pass! Clementine hasn't quite embraced the whole leash-and-harness concept. In fact, she's absolutely terrified of it! Her current walking strategy involves planting all four paws firmly on the ground and refusing to budge. Her foster family has resorted to carrying her along on walks. Fortunately, at 8 pounds, she's pretty portable! ❤️ A Tender Little Heart: Clementine is still skittish and easily frightened by unfamiliar experiences. She's going to need a patient family who understands that trust takes time and who will celebrate all those little victories along the way. Her foster family says she’s becoming more and more silly as the days go on and it seems she’s got a fun and energetic side of her that she’s just now feeling safe enough to show. ✨ Clementine's Dream Home ✨ We're looking for someone who doesn't need a dog that's ready to conquer the world on day one. Someone who understands that sometimes the biggest accomplishments come in the tiniest packages. A family willing to give her time, patience, a predictable routine, and plenty of reassurance as she learns that life can be wonderful. And, of course, a warm lap is absolutely nonnegotiable! ❤️ Clementine has already been through more than any little dog should have to experience. Now it's her turn to discover the good stuff: soft beds, gentle hands, unconditional love, and a family to call her very own.   Her adoption donation is $250 and will include vaccines, microchip and spay Please follow this link to submit an application:   https://bit.ly/3GDeyyo   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2026, 6:16 pm
