Story
Dylan is looking for his forever home. He is 5 years old and a little chunky at 25lbs. We would like to see him down to a healthy 18-20lbs. The last two years, Dylan has been an only dog and spoiled eating all the people treats he wanted.  Now he is playing in the yard chasing after his foster friends and eating dry dog kibble which is not only better for him diet wise, it is also healthier for his teeth. At 5 years old, Dylan needed to have a much over due dental cleaning, all those extra people treats were not good for his teeth. He enjoys running the yard and chasing his furry friends and would probably stay more active if her had another dog in the home to play with.He still loves to lounge on the couch, patio furniture etc. Enjoys going for walk and outings. Dylan is great in the car and enjoys hanging out on the patio at the local dog friendly restaurants. He just jumps up in an empty chair at the table like he is one of the family. Dylan would do best with someone that will watch what he eats and keep the people treats to a minimum. He is crate trained and house trained. Adoption fee $300 includes: neuter, vaccines, heartworm negative, micro chipped and recent dental cleaning. If you are interested in meeting this little love fill out an application. Once approved we will schedule a one on one meet and greet. https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic   ##1185543##

Story
See those cute puppies on our website right now? Well, Eddie wants you to know that the vintage, preowned models are so much better and that he is one of the finest examples you'll ever meet. First of all, he would argue that if you know anything about the legendary lifespan of the rat terrier, then at his estimated age of 10 or 11, he's not all that old. True, he is preowned, but his former owner died, and he wants so badly to belong to someone again. He's house-trained and well-mannered, except for occasionally swiping your shoes in order to entice you to play with him.    Eddie gets along with other dogs, but he could probably be happy being your one and only if you're home most of the time. While not a fan of hugging and kissing, he loves to be around you. Somehow he'll manage to sneak his 16 lbs. right onto your lap without you noticing! And if he's not in your lap, he'll be right next to you, even at bedtime. He seems to love everybody he meets, including kids as long as they respect his desire not to be hugged or kissed. On the other hand, he thinks cats and other small animals are meant for chasing, so he would not be a good candidate for a home with cats.    Eddie will amaze you with his energy and love of taking walks, especially when you consider that he has IVDD (intervertebral disc disease), for which he takes a daily pain pill (average monthly cost is $10, and during occasional flare-ups, he'll need additional meds and limited activity while he recovers.) He also gets a little over-the-counter Benadryl for itchy skin and eye drops for dry eye. (Drops cost less than $25/month.) But none of these things can stand in the way of his walks! The boy looks forward to and NEEDS his daily walks. He enjoys meeting people and getting a friendly pet, and he has been known to wait at certain spots in the hope that he'll encounter his new friends again! If you're looking for a walking partner and a wonderful companion, you've just found him! His name is Eddie, and he's ready to be yours! See more photos of this dapper fellow at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/eddie .Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www.
