You can adopt one of our great dogs, and spend the adoption fee on new toys, soft beds, and yummy treats instead! ara, named Blyss at the shelter, ended up there when someone called and said there was a dog on their front porch. We don't know if she was lost, or someone had dumped her, but no one came to get her, until we did. This girl, who we think is a mix of rat terrier, min pin and a little bit of pittie, is a petite girl. She weighed 29 pounds when we pulled her from the shelter, and was a bit underweight, with some filling out to do. She is about 2 years old now, and is at her perfect weight, weighing about 38 pounds. She has a slender little body with long legs, a beautiful red brindle coat, and ears for days! If you have wanted a dog to do dog sports with - like agility - this sweet athletic girl may be a great fit for you! Like all of our dogs, Zara is in Atlanta. Hi, I am looking for a home for Mizzie. She has been with me for 4 years now, and has been the best addition to my home here in Georgia the entire time. She’s full of love and energy. She’s very clever and loves to play. She is house trained and also trained on and off leash when walking outside. Mizzie is probably the smartest dog I ever encountered. She understands everything said to her, it’s amazing. I wish I could bring her where I am moving to but unfortunately I cannot have pets there and I am running out of time finding her a home. I am not charging because this isn’t money grab. I just want my little baby to be placed somewhere decent please.

Elvis (dog version!) is a very special, loving dog but I am leaving for military training at the end of March and will unfortunately need to find him a new home. Personality (good with children, other dogs, and cats; leash/crate trained; knows commands; housebroken; separation anxiety, etc.). Very gentle and loving. Good with people and loves kids. I've had a smaller dog he also gets along and plays with. Good with other dogs too and every once in a while he could bark at another dog but no aggression at all. Knows basic commands (sit, come back etc) and leash and bathroom trained (I have a backyard and a doggy door). Does fine on his own during the day but he is curious and being 70 pounds he can climb a smaller fence and want to explore. He wasn't really put in a crate since he's bigger and was potty trained.
