Story
We are a retired couple. We have been traveling extensively and just bought a home in Gulfport. All the traveling is hard on Chachi, he needs a place to be without moving around so much. Chachi is a loving little dog who loves to snuggle with you. He can be on his own at home. He likes his "home" kennel. He is good with people once he gets to know them, same with kids. At first he can be very nervous and barking at strangers. He is good on walks and is overjoyed to ride in the car. He is mostly good with other dogs, sometimes barks at larger black dogs. He came from Texas where he was raised by a family that could no longer keep him. We have had him three years and we do love him, but think he needs a more stable home life. Not so much traveling around.

Story
Jax is a 4-month-old, 12-pound Rat Terrier mix with the cutest little stubby tail — he was just born that way! His litter was born stray in a trailer park, and he’s the last one still looking for his forever home.Jax is a sweet, gentle soul who’s a little skittish at first, but once he warms up, he’ll be your shadow. He loves being near his people and craves attention, affection, and cuddles. He plays wonderfully with his foster siblings and enjoys soaking up the sun outside. He’s also just starting to discover the fun of toys!Jax is ready to trade in his rough start for a life full of love and belly rubs. Could you be the one he’s been waiting for?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Hello there, I’m Hot Dog! But you can call me Hot Digity if you’re feeling extra friendly. I’m a senior fella, 13 pounds, 15 years old, and I’m looking for a quiet, loving home where I can relax, snuggle, and be the good boy I am.I’ve had a bit of a rough start, coming from a hoarding situation, but I’m healthy and happy now, thanks to my wonderful foster mom. I’ve had a couple of surgeries recently—cherry eye surgery, a dental cleaning, and some extractions, but don’t worry, I’m feeling good! I eat soft food and small kibble just fine, and I’m pretty easy-going about it all.I may be an older guy, but I still enjoy meeting new people (humans, that is—I’m not too sure about other dogs, especially if they don’t understand my cute little grunt-growl when I’m getting all snuggly). My foster mom’s dogs don’t really get me, but I’m cool with other dogs as long as they’re respectful of my personal space. I like to take it easy, resting and enjoying my snuggles, but I do bark when someone unfamiliar comes by. That’s just my way of saying, “Hey, who’s there?”I’m crate trained and a good listener, very attentive to my foster mom’s requests. I’m still working on my potty training, but I’m making great progress. I walk well on a leash now, and I love to meet new humans. My foster mom says I’m a good dog and that she wishes we had more one-on-one time, but I’m happy with whatever I get, as long as I get my snuggles!I’m heartworm positive, and doing the slow kill method so it’s easier on me. I just want to live out my golden years in a clean, loving environment where I can feel safe and cherished. So, if you’re looking for a quiet companion who just wants to be your best friend, I might be the one for you. I’m ready for my second chance. Could you be my person?*My adoption fee is partially sponsored to help me find a loving forever home!*IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Gordo - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey all you fabulous people out there, let me introduce myself. I'm Gordo and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I'm about a year old and come in at just 6lbs. I am a great size to be that perfectly pawsome companion for your daily adventures, from neighborhood strolls to walks to the local coffee shop, from milder nature hikes to co-piloting errand runs, from supervising yard work to snoozing in the sunbeams...I'm your gal!!! I am a social lil fella that loves all people both tall and small. I get on wonderfully playing with the other foster pups here but I haven't had the pleasure yet to meet any of those creatures y'all call a cat. I am also house and crate trained already so that lets us get right to all that fun stuff...right away! I would do wonderfully with a playful 4legged sibling to chase around the yard but I would be just as happy as your one and only getting ALL your attention!! I am just the sweetest lil snuggly boy that has the most loving personality that would do well in just about any environment from city living to farm acres to anywhere in between just so long as I'm with YOU (my favoritest place!!). I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness and be that lil heartbeat at your feet or maybe even hopefully on your lap. So, if you think I could be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org
